Also, again, self serving is shoving a picture of yourself front and center, much better as a team.

And lastly:

"Wade posted a photo of himself from a previous photo shoot wearing a hooded sweat shirt, otherwise known as a hoodie, to his Twitter and Facebook pages on Friday morning."

Good on Wade, tough to go dig up that old pic of yourself and throw it out there.

You want to nit-pick, be my guest, but as someone who follows 95% of the NBA crazed people roughly zero have given any indication any of this was Wade's idea. No. One.

Fuckin' relax dude. I didn't know that. That's why I was asking. You might have noticed where I wrote "just curious". I didn't even think twice about it until I saw a thing about Facebook Wade in a hoodie on PBT.

I'm not nit-picking. Just wondering. I had no idea who's idea it was. So I asked.

Next time I'll make sure I spill 1,000 words in my post to make it clear enough that I'm not just "hating on LeBron like all hiljack Ohioans".

No. Actually I was perusing Hardball Talk, like I often do. After that I scroll down to the bottom of the page to see what's what on PFT and PBT and CFT and I see a story about Wade in a hoodie. Posted about the same time as LeBron's tweet.

I click on it and don't see anything about the tweet in the story, so I wonder if maybe Wade should be getting a little credit here too. Or not. I don't really give a fuck.

Here's the story:

http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/23/wade-posts-picture-of-himself-in-hoodie-in-support-of-trayvon-martin/

But, I understand you have a "jump completely up someone's ass...ask questions later" policy. Honestly, it's one of the reasons we love you dude, so carry on with your bad self.

FTR: my response was far more angry toward those few fucks then it was you, but the reactions from a few Cleveland fans were disgustingly absurd.

Now Melo came out with his own picture, far less impressed by that but at least they are all united in showing support.

I have absolutely no doubt that there is a vocal contingent of ignorant fucks from Cleveland refusing to give LBJ any sort of credit for this because of who he is and what he did.

FTR - as for myself, when I saw that tweet I thought is was awesome. When you were typing your last reply, I was on the floor playing trains with the boy. I heard Trayvon's cries for help on that tape followed by the shots. I have no interest in hearing it again because when I think about it I get a lump in my throat so big I think it might explode. I can think of nothing to explain the actions of the deranged monster responsible and am saddened that in 2012 shit like this apparently still happens.

That one reeks far too much of, "Hey, I have a hoodie picture. Here it is, guys" for me.

The fact you can have no initial charges brought given the evidence, suggest the cops in that town were run by the dumbest motherfucker this side of.... I don't know, somewhere stupid. Mother can think of a comparison, I have no time for such time wasting.

Imagine if these useless fucks in uniform were protecting your town.

If a black dude shot a white kid carrying skittles for no reason and the cops let the killer go this would have been Natalie Holloway from jump, so no, the NBA players probably wouldn't have had to jump into a movement to correct racially driven crime.

Good.

Frankly this country is run by such trash that some other trash starting a civil war wouldn't bother me.

Man up now, either unite this country racially (by trying to fix the fucking problems instead of stepping back) or deal with whatever comes of this mess.

Being black doesn't mean you have to make people not dislike you. Nor does being born in a project. Being given a chance though...............................................................

Ha ha ha the NBPP can barely tie its shoes, but they can sure get their PR's out.

I'm pretty sure given a diverse ethnic make-up we're still tops for socio-economic mobility. Up and down.

Wake me up tomorrow with my new outrage item.

How, historically could we not be the country with the highest socio-economic mobility?

Why is there a "new" Black Panther Party? What happened to the old one?

They should learn from the Saints, bounties are bad. Plus it's not like you could ever collect the money. Roger gonna hear about this.

Well, I suppose there are always problems to fix. I'm sick of trying to reach ideals and thinking things are so bad. Better is the enemy of good enough.

The "old" BPP? The two groups are unrelated. The old group actually sued the new group for using the name, but since both groups are marginalized even within the black separatist movement no one really cares.

Advocating such type of revenge killings is the way to solve racial divides in this country.

::doh::

Not to mention the group suggesting such an action is a minority group advocating the killing of another minority. Way to hold true to form.

It will give the FBI and other LE agencies something to do for a while I guess.

Who knows, right?

I mean most people will try to have sympathy over stuff like this, b/c frankly it all seems to be avoidable, and who knows when we can be in a spot like this.

But the media is notorious for inaccuracies, all the time, regarding every type of news story. The media didn't initiate this crime, or controversy, but they poured fuel to the fire in some regard. Spawning a whole crazy and controversial backlash of
insanity. Unfortunately it is part of the world we live in today.

If the latest is accurate, it doesn't bode well for prosecution hopes, nor the credibility/reps of all those who jumped on board the crazy calls for public manhunts and vigilante justice.

Frankly that is the list I want to see now.

I am not sure what you mean sat on it? This article from the 9th of March implied that there was a fight/struggle. Who knows how much danger he was really in, but that is why everyone out in front of this needs to relax a bit, ask the Duke Lax protesters. Perhaps the facts don't jive with the story constructed in the media and by Al Sharpton.

When officer T. Smith arrived at the scene moments later, he found Martin’s body lying face down on the grass about 70 yards from the family’s home, bleeding from a chest wound. He had $22, candy and a can of iced tea in his pockets.

Zimmerman gave police a statement that he stepped out of his car and he and Martin fought. He said he was “yelling for someone to help, but no one would help me.”

Zimmerman had a bloody nose, wet grass stains on his red jacket and was bleeding head wound. Martin was pronounced dead at 7:30 p.m.

“We don’t know what led up to that fight,’’ Lee said.

Just saw Ray Lewis is going to join the protests with Sharpton... He's all about bringing justice to murderers.

A bunch of inept mouth breather cops who are dumber than shit and should be digging ditches or pulling huge turds out of clogged toilets. Not carrying a guns or having any say in arresting people or serving justice.

That whole department should be purged.

If you shoot someone who is begging for their life and unarmed, you're probably a psychopath.

And DU, if they play those 911 tapes for a jury, Zimmerman is in bad fucking shape.

1) You have the cops TELLING him to stay in his car.

2) You have a unarmed kid begging for his life, a shot, and then silence.

CDT there is a strong possibilty a jury never sees this. If the evidence convines authorities that Zimmerman was acting in full blown self defense he would be exonerated, a corraborating witness is as strong a piece of evidence as a 911 tape, if not stronger.

I hope it can shed some light.

Obviously I don't know what really happened, but I'm just not buying Zimmermans version of events that came out today. So Martin attacked him and was beating him when he shot the kid? Zimmerman was screaming help and then shot him who's being attacked? Doubt it.

Even if Martin did attack him like he said, it seems to me like Z pulled the gun and executed him.

Again, even if what was told today made sense, if I were followed by a guy in a car, he had a gun and was on a celly I would have dropped him too.

The cops told him to stop for a reason, regardless of what happened, he went after it.

Whoo-Hoo, I live the next town south of Sanford. Should be a fun summer, imagine if that dude doesn't get convicted somehow. My wife said last night she wants some guns, and classes on home defense. Although our sympathies tend toward the kid, once the shit breaks you don't get a chance to say "excuse me Mr. Rioter I am in agreement with your cause".

The hispanic guy from what I can tell is actually a pretty well liked guy who has to be shaking his head right now at the national spotlight on him. Some black local news guy is apparently a personal friend and telling everyone he's a very sweet guy, not a racist.

Anyone see that crazy bitch from FAU go off the other day? The important thing to note is that the black kids in class were really laughing the hardest. While it only takes a couple of nut-jobs like that to do some damage this is why I don't think there are going to be any full-blown race riots. Anyone with a good education and some chance at upward mobility will not be throwing molotav cocktails.

I've been hearing this type of response to this story a lot, and I'm confused why, b/c nobody has the right to attack somebody just b/c they think they're getting followed.

Not singling you out eye, but it just doesn't work that way.

Plus going by what you said you would do, first how would you know the guy has a gun, second, you don't bring Skittles, iced tea and fists to a gun fight.

Plus, to be accurate, was it not the 911 operators that told him to stop, not sure how often those operators are official LE. Kind of just sayin.

I'm with everybody thought in that this whole thing just doesn't feel right.
