I even liked Jeremy Lin (a truly great sports story, unlike Tebow).
This will be my breaking point with NYC. I may have to divorce myself from the city entirely.

Ryan: Does that mean you’re gay?
Tebow: No, sir.
Ryan: Because you’re a well-built guy. No one here would begrudge you a handjob in the gym sauna.
Tebow: No, sir.
Ryan: (slaps Tebow on the ass, HARD)
Tebow: OUCH!
Ryan: Nothing? No semi-chub from that?
Tebow: No.

Sanchez: Well, I’m honored to have you here as my backup, Tim. Whatever guidance you need to help learn this offense, I am here to mentor you as you see fit.
Ryan: (chokes on donut)
Tebow: Oh, I intend to win the starting job.
Sanchez: Yeah, right! Keep dreaming! I got an extension! I’m good, right coach?
Ryan: Uhhh…
Sanchez: Coach?
Ryan: It’s an open competition, Nacho.
Sanchez: GASP! I thought you had faith in me!
Ryan: Son, I don’t have faith in anything except the taste of a fine cigar and pertness of sixteen-year-old thighs. You two dimestore Rick Mirers are gonna have to duke it out on the field.
Tebow: An opportunity is all I ask for.
Sanchez: Yeah well, I have a better arm! (throws ball, hits ceiling fan by accident)
Tebow: (throws ball, magical golden sheep appears and catches it in its teeth)

Should fly each of Cromartie's kids and their mother(s) in for a home game this season.

If the trade breaks down it will be because of the Jets. There's apparently a $5 million payment to the Broncos in his contract that the Jets might not want to pay.
As much as you love beating that dead horse, this one's got nothing to do with Goodell.

Anyhooo, I thought the fair and balanced crowd are willing to admit that Holmgren is not beyond criticism? So I choose to point out that the guy makes bad decisions. As do all dudes in his position from time to time. Big Mike seems to make more than his fair share, though. Asking Bob Lomonte for advice on who to hire for coaching openings might have something to do with this trend. Anyway, the LoMonte clique is a symptom of the overall problem, not the cause.

That is something that, while not the same as LBJ, would have been equivalent to LBJ being drafted by the Cavs and refusing to come here.
It deserves being pointed out, because no one will bitch about it, because it didn't happen to.... YOU.
Rest assured, next time an NBA player demands a trade to a not small market someone here will jump all over said NBA player, while Tebow will be banging nuns in NYC and smoking stogies while happily thanking gawd he's not in J-Ville (aka his home).

So Tim Tebow turned down home for the New York media market and a better chance to win. FOR SHAME LEBRON JAMES

Hmm... I missed the day where Holmgren said (or it was shown) that they asked Lamonte who they should hire to fill their coaching openings. I know LaMonte represents Holmgren, Heckert, Shurmur, Childress and Whipple.
Apparently they failed to consult Lamonte on: (inhales) Dick Jauron, Chris Tabor, Dwaine Board, Gary Brown, Nolan Cromwell, Bill Davis, Tim Hauck, Steve Hagen and Mike Wilson (breathes again). Plus all the assistants.
Lamonte also represents John Fox who was wanted by a number of people here. Badly.
He also represents Andy Reid, Rick Smith, GM of the lauded Texans, and Lake Dawson.
Like I said, if you wanna squawk, squawk. Just squawk completely and not selectively. It takes away from the credibility of the actual and factual and legit complaints people have. And there are dozens. I understand that. More every day I'm afraid.
But the bottom line is Lamonte represents less than 15% of the Browns front office, coaches, coordinators, assistants, etc.
The Browns he represents make up less than 20% of his clientele when you do the math.
Good Lord, are we blaming Holmgren for everything or are we moving to his agent now?
Jesus. You can fail a test and get 59% of the material correct. You're still failing for sure. But you didn't fuck up EVERY SINGLE THING.
