Ideally? Someone wants 4th pick and you can move back within top 10 and add another 2nd.

Get a terrific player inside top 10, Miller at 22 and see which WR is there at 37 and/or with 2nd pick in 2nd round.

Agree. I love Miller's burst thru the hole. He has that 5th gear no one on our roster even comes close to having. I'd take Tannehill at 4 , Miller at 22 and whatever WR is left at 37.

Tannehill at 4 makes my head want to explode. In the teens as a project, yes. Please god no at #4. Would rather have Blackmon or trade down, Miller, and Joss Wheedon at 37. Would actually generate some excitement, too. Tannehill would be a bigass bucket of feh up till game 2 when all the fans in the stadium start booing colt and chanting his name every dropped pass.

Personally, I don't want him at 4, 13, 22, or anywhere in the 1st round.

From everything I've seen, he is this year's Blaine Gabbert - I have no idea how his stock rose so fast.

That really, really sounds like something different than once in a generation. I mean, they're both in the same draft, a year after another once in a generation guy and 11 months before the next once in a generation guy is talked about here.

We really need to re-think this once-in-a-generation thing.

I was just thinking this. I wonder if Ryan, Flacco and Ben were chosen intentionally as to be vague...

But no, I think we have an inability to discern QB talent.
That being said, IMO, #4 BPA.. #22 BPA.. just hope to God that some of those BPA's are guys on offense! maybe change those to BPA(on offense) or something.. we are in this weird place where we are awful and talentless, but not so bad as the lion were less than 10 years ago ..

Let's hire Matt Millen as GM! That way we can be unequivocally the worst team in the league for a guaranteed 5-6 years, then fire him, don't sign anyone so we have another 4-6 years of top draft picks.. and then, we can be sweet!

Yes it's a spectrum, Roethlisburger, Ryan and Flacco. Solid guys. Game managers. Big ,pocket passers. He's in that range. You can win with those guys, even Flacco. I think Flacco is his floor.

I think Cam Newton is fools gold. I may be wrong, but I think he regresses this year.

If you had said Roethlisburger, Eli, and Rivers......the argument could have made a lot more sense. Three guys that are not elite, not generational talent, but can play at that level and possibly get you a chip.

Ryan and Flacco have proven that they are meh and feh, and need a boatload of talent to carry you to a super bowl. Not saying it cant happen, but basically they are replaceable.

This has been discussed ad naseum here for the last two months. Just say that RG3/Luck are capable of "elite" level talent, and Tannehill (at his ceiling) is going to be franchise/game manager type.

(And that's why you don't want him until the second round, because game managers are not difficult to find.....and Joss Weedon isnt going to cost you the #4 overall)

From what I've seen, I don't see it - at least not as they are currently comprised. Maybe he's what Roethlisberger was when he came in the league, namely not very good but didn't make many mistakes, but there's no guarantee he'll develop the way POS did.

What he reminds me of is Chad Henne. And I think that if Chad Henne were coming out in this draft, he'd go ahead of Tannehill. Since teams are going nuts with reaching on QB's now...

Im not sure that teams will really reach this year. All of the teams that desperately needed QB's, sans Miami, got a guy that they will take into this year as a starter; the only teams that really NEED that guy are Cleveland and Miami. (Jets, Skins, Colts, Seattle, Denver, SF all have their guy, and most have a backup/project)

Zona could grab someone if they fall to them in the first round, but I think they'd be ok with starting the year with Kolb and Skelton, given that they paid Kolb his bonus.

There's a lot of crazy stuff that could happen; Denver could grab at someone high for Peyton to mentor, or Zona could take someone off the board, or even Jax......but I just dont see the crazy over-valuing qb's that happened last year going again this year)

Competitive Pud Pulling is something the Browns would be perennial World Champs at. The Pee Wee Herman Trophy would have a reserved spot in Berea.

The cat from Va Tech is good as well. Either at 22 wouldn't cause aneurysm. I have no beef taking a RB in the early rounds.
