I was so hopeful when I opened this thread.

This is like finding out you won the lottery but have to split it with 1,0000 other people.

It's still good, just not as good.

You suck.

I asked someone in the know if we can replace his production. I am waiting for a response. This inside source is highly knowledgabbable.

On a team with no center to just simply waive a 7ft athletic guy??? A freaking highjumper, duh its basketball u jump, Chris Grant WTF!

By we, I am assuming you mean either you or peeker could replace his production? I am not in the know, but probably.

Maybe we can get Pros to replace his production and give him less time to type?

I'm pretty sure i can replace his production. I'm very good at having dunks blocked. I may have to work on getting more 3 second calls, but I can set moving screens like a pro.

If you extrapolate his 15 min/game to a full 48 plus an additional 5 minutes for overtime every night Hollins averaged 11 points and 9 rebounds.

How do you cut a guy who puts up that kind of production?

Idiots.

Kevin Love averaged 11 points and 9 rebounds his rookie season.

The Cavs just cut the extrapolated KEVIN FUCKING LOVE!!!!!!!

MORONS!!!

Only saving grace is Sullinger is the next Kevin Love and the Cavs have a shot at him.

They have a floor level zoom-cam that actually at one time showed some light under his sneakers. However, that footage was found to have been altered and sent out to other NBA teams with whom they wanted to trade him.

Hollins was also an accomplished high jumper, clearing 6'10" at the Pac 10 championships. In 2003, Hollins placed ninth in the high jump at the NCAA Regionals and sixth at the Pac-10 Championships.

^from Wiki and I will not find a more reliable source.

Oh the answer to you question is no, unless you count his moving screens then he jumped forward or backward 4-5 times a game.

Precisely.

Makes no sense to have split it with an indeterminable number of assholes.

What? Huh?

It makes sense that TT will now get his 35+ minutes as he'll take over down low.

I hope Samardo doesn't sleep through this wake up call. If not for a slightly higher ceiling and a sturdier build, it could have been him.

This thread title is the worst ever.

It really reflects the author's lack of class.

Whether or not Pros could replace Hollins production is solely dependent upon who else would be on the floor with Pros.

Just saw a stat, Ryan Hollins, in his entire career, has grabbed five or more rebounds 36 times, or roughly 1 in 10 games.

You people obviously haven't been extrapolating properly.

Before acquiring Ryan Hollins, the Celtics were 24-21, which is a winning percentage of 53.3 (repeating, of course). Now, extrapolated over an 82 game season, that gives you a record of roughly 44-38.

Since acquiring Ryan Hollins, the Celtics are 6-1, a winning percentage of nearly 86%. If you extrapolate that over the course of a season, you get to 70 wins, nearly enough to break the record for all-time wins in a season. Therefore, Ryan Hollins is worth 26 wins to the Celtics.

It gets better: Before losing Hollins, the Cavs were 17-26, 40% win percentage. Extrapolated over 82, that's 33 wins.

Since losing Ryan, the Cavs are 0-8, being outscored by 20 PPG. Obviously they can't win without him, therefore Ryan Hollins is worth 33 wins to the Cavs.

The numbers don't lie, folks. Ryan Hollins is not only the MVP of the league, he is quite possibly the greatest player of our generation. Nobody is worth more wins than he is. Not Durant, not Kobe, not Lebron/Bosh/Wade. Hell, not even Jordan was this great. He has turned a middle of the road team into a title favorite, and his loss has turned a playoff contender into the worst team in the league.

And you people are idiots for wanting him gone.

Works for me. Think we can get him back if we offer up Kyrie, or will the Celtics insist we throw in TT as well?

Unintentionally yes, but the certitude of PROS posts and the eventual rebuttals ruin it for meh. I like the abject mockery better. Personal pref.

Wasn't getting snarky, just playing along with the joke.

My next post was going to be how Hollins has managed to turn Boston into a Championship contender even though he's only scored 15 points in 8 games. Imagine where they would be if he was getting more than 6 minutes a game. Hold on, just a minute, let me extrapolate...
