Just Another Day in the NBA

Unread postby peeker643 » Wed Mar 14, 2012 2:40 pm

Carmelo whines and cries, demands to go somewhere else (a bigger market maybe?)

D'Antoni resigns.

Carmelo's suddenly okay in NYC.

Fuckin' owners, man. Ruining the game...

Seeing this devolve on Twitter was funny. Do I now revert back to character guys and winners? Westbrook also had some kinda dustup last night.

Carmelo has always been a cocksucker and before Dwight was unmatched in his bullshit and demands (both are worse than LBJ).

Not really sure what this post of yours is about.

Even worse is the fact that Melo is probably the most overrated player in the league at this point.

You know what my post is about.

Fuck that.

It's Dolans fault that Dolan is an asshole.

It's not Dolan's fault that Carmelo is an asshole. The issue many have with your anti-owner take is you never seem ready to hold the players accountable for any of it. They're victims all the time.

That's bullshit. Carmelo (as you noted originally) has always been an asshole. You should have maintained that stance instead of turning it to Dolan because of an agenda.

Maybe Dolan should have added a year or two to D'Antoni's deal so he wasn't a lame duck. I'm sure that would have shut Melo's big fucking mouth up?? Please.

I fully agree Carmelo is an asshole.

I fully feel that when an owner takes an asshole, pays him the biggest extension ever and cuts his coaches balls off the asshole will stay an asshole.

They deserve each other, each feeds the other's stuidity.

And I doubt Dolan even showed up to the lockout, he doesn't interfere in anything league wise and generally focuses on just sinking his own ship but doing shit like stripping his coach down and telling Melo sweet nothings every night.

And if Gilbert sucking LBJ's dick didn't teach these stupid fuck owners where that gets them nothing will.

In other words, they are both the innmates, Dolan and Melo, fucking each other nightly in the cell and living in each others arms.

Although for a guy who thinks about rehiring the worst GM in the history of sport every year this makes total sense.

'Melo is a whiny douche and he's fat. Peek, you should do a Teh Warp about him. Maybe compare and contrast with his whine and the whine of people disappointed that we missed on RGIII.

You guest host Teh Wrap this week and write it.

If Melo fell over dead of ball cancer tonight I'd chuckle, shrug my shoulders and go about my evening.

He's indefensible and I don't give a shit about him or his fuckknuckle wife enough to care if he lives or dies much less devote words to him.

other than that it was a good idea.

I ain't no writer. It would devolve by the 3rd paragraph to a rant about why I don't care for midgets and stupid technology phones.

Dwight Howard is insane and semi-irrational, that much cannot be argued, but him opting in to give Orlando one more year to not surround him with suck means he can no longer be lumped into the LBJ/Melo crew.

Bullshit, you put a team on notice and give them 8 years of service you are more then free to leave.

He gave them one last shot and they know it is their last shot, I'm all good with that. Same way I would have been had LBJ told Gilbert the year before he bolted.

I wouldn't give a flying fuck if he left or not because, as you said, 8 years is plenty.

I'd just love for him to shut the fuck up and do whatever it is he wants to do quietly and without coming off as an asshole.

But it's too late for that.

He loves hearing himself talk and he loves hearing people talk about what he's gonna do.

I can't figure out if he is so obsessed with having people like him he keeps sticking his foot in his mouth, or if he is just so dumb he doesn't understand the concept of shutting up, at this point LBJ played his final year FAR better than Dewey.

It's obvious by watching him play he has problems controlling his emotions, but christ on a stick.

Whichever one it is, it took a guy I liked and rooted for and turned him into another guy who I wouldn't piss on if he was on fire.

Luckily for the Knicks, they have a pretty decent backup coach with solid experience and a very short history of winning; otherwise they would be fucked. Really fucked. They're definitely still salvageable, but damn, all the talent on that team? Makes me sick.
Same with the big 3. Last year, those assholes talkin about beating the Bulls record? Shit they have more than 10 losses in a shortened season. They might not even win the East! God Damn the NBA can be disgusting at times; I miss the NBA of the 90s.
