Your options are below:
1. Matt Flynn in FA (probably pretty expensive)
2. Hope that Manning signs in Arizona and get Kevin Kolb on the cheap.
3. Ryan Tannehill in the draft (either trading down a few spots or at #4)
4. Brandon Weeden in the draft (at #37)
5. Other QB in the draft (as a project)
6. Kyle Orton or some other FA.
7. Stick with Colt McCoy one more season.

Also not a player I love in that #4 slot. I'd be totally fine with the Browns trading it for a #1 next year, and some additional later picks this year.

Tempting, BUTTT the tradedown only works if there's someone at 4 that a team REALLY covets. Do Claiborne, Blackmon or Richardson reach that level? Not sure.

I will take a 3 and a 5 from STL to let them have Blackmon and move down to 6 where you have more value in selecting a DE. People will trade up if the asking price isnt exorbitant.

3 & 5 this yr.? To what end? We already have a surplus this yr. So, we'll get MORE mid-rounders?

Sure, or next, I dont care, more picks. I wouldnt classify our draft situation as a surplus, we have enough holes that a "surplus" of picks will come in handy. Especially for moving around and making trades to acquire more picks next year.

Better hope for another 4-12, 5-11 then. B/c a couple extra mid-rounders won't help you high enough if you're picking 10.

Outside of the first two rounds I am looking to accumulate as many as possible. For every five Antonio Perkins and Beau Bell's you get an Ahtyba Rubin. We aren't going to become super bowl contenders by just hitting on the first few picks, we need to hit on some late ones to even get to 8-8. The more chances you get the more Rubins you get....in theory.
FFS, we've been doing that! A bunch of "solid/good players," with no playmakers is worthless, IMHO. It's a recipe for perpetual purgatory- 8-8.

Is this settled? I don't want to hear anyone thinking otherwise. It's a pipedream.
But, you may as well get Flynn at this point. It frees you up to use that 2nd/22nd pick to go use it on building up the team, and pray that you can land another QB next year.

Hell, if Peyton gets all emo and goes to Tennesee I'd take a year of Hassellback over this crap or drafting a probable failure.

If hell freezes over, and the tits allow us to trade for Locker, I'd be down with that too.
And what I mean with Flynn is this, He's not going to be a Superstar NFL QB we all want, but he costs..by far a lot less, and could be argued that he's at least an upgrade from Colt.

Now, with no RGIII or Flynn out there, even the anti-Colts are back to him, for now. From a fan approval POV, H+H have to be thrilled that they didn't get RGIII.
A non-apathetic fanbase would riot over the prospect of a second yr. of Colt-as-starter. We seem to be inclined to accept it.
FTR: I'll take option #4- Weeden.

Disagree. I think even the casual fanbase wanted RGIII, even at a steep price.

I bet Peeker looked lot like D'Anunzio when he was a Pukelit punk and had hair while he frequented Briardale. His take about RG 3 = D'Anunzio's about Coke.
