The rumors I have seen are Sessions/Jamo for Marvin Williams/Hinrich/ATL 1st (currently 20th pick). Hinrich is an expiring contract.

I don't know if I'd want the Cavs to blow their entire trade load for Marvin Williams and a playoff team's 1st round pick. If you're gonna trade for a player, make it a young guy with upside, not an established veteran whose reached his ceiling.

What's the latest from you guys who follow this more closely than I do? Jamison to Charlotte rumors, Sessions to Lakers always a possibility. What are the chances we get a 1st round pick, or better yet, a lottery pick?

The latest is a whole lot of nothing. Basically the little I have read is that the assets we have suck. Expiring deals don't have the same magic when you wipe the slate clean with amnesty. That is unless you follow Sam Amico. That guy posted his typical bullshit, then acts like he can't say more because it would be improper without more sources... Hack.

I'm glad to see us improving as a team, but I'm really wanting a good lottery pick this year.

I keep hearing good things about Kidd-Gilchrist, but I'm unsure of him. (paging eeyore for his take, because the Kyrie one was pretty much dead on last year)

I love Kidd-Gilbchrist and would take him and Davis over everyone.

Pray for a lottery miracle and Davis though, because him and Kyrie gives me shakes it is so exciting to think about.

The one thing I seem to notice with Callipari teams, is that the guy may be a bit of a scumbag, but I'll be damned if he doesn't have consistently the best pro-caliber talent year in and year out. Kind of why I was leaning towards Kidd-Gilchrist personally.

No chance we get Davis though. Wasn't it he who actually wanted to stay in school all 4 years btw?

Can't wait to watch UK play in March so I can get a better look at the two.

Davis will not be staying in school and will be going #1, done and done.

Kidd-Gilchrist will probably go top three as well.

There are a ton of flawed prospects in this draft and the Cavs will be getting one of them, guys like Sullinger and Barnes will be role-players (Barnes actually has more upside) but have very visible flaws in their games.

One league source told ESPNLosAngeles.com's Dave McMenamin that the Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers recently tried to resuscitate a deal that would have sent point guard Ramon Sessions to L.A. by bringing the Rockets into the mix as a third-team facilitator.

The source said that the Lakers, in that proposal, would have received Sessions from Cleveland and future considerations from Houston, with the Rockets receiving one of the Lakers' two 2012 first-rounders and the Cavaliers landing Houston guard Jonny Flynn to back up Kyrie Irving at the point.

I guess Flynn would be something though I've never been high on him. Would really prefer something other than a backup PG for our backup PG who teams are looking to start.
