Impossible to say whether this any effect on contract talks since we don't know why Hillis gave him the heave-ho. Hard not to shake your head at it, though... it's not like Hillis came off like a genius even before this year.

Last October, we noted that Browns running back Peyton Hillis used three different agents in 2011 alone. He’s celebrating the upcoming new league year by making another change.

Hillis is looking for his fourth agent since the start of 2011 after parting ways with agent Kennard McGuire, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN.com. There is a minimum five-day window before Hillis can hire a new agent.

Not really sure what to make of this new report, that Hillis was considering retirement and joining the CIA near the end of last season (I'm sure the CIA can't wait for that application).

If the Coaches were dealing with this shit all season, no wonder they're not gonna break the bank for the guy.

CIA recruited heavily from Hopkins, there is an appication process and it is insane. I had to do multiple character interviews for multiple friends.

I read this and almost did a spit take. Went from 0-60 on the hilarity scale....and honestly, reading that kind of stuff makes the whole Hillis saga far more believable. The meetings with team mates behind closed doors, the random comments, the lack of enthusiasm for bringing him back. He's a serious nutcase.

Whats funny is that my brother knew a guy who overheard a bunch of things Hillis said last year out somewhere around town that seemed way off from all our impressions at that time.

Remember when I sent you that email Peeks? The the main part I was interested in confirming was that he was just talking about how he couldn't wait to get out of here, followed by a don't tell anyone I said that type comment.

Not that I doubt it. I don't know him (or any of them) from Dahmer, and this kind of nonsense would certainly be in lockstep with a lot of the comments that the brass/fellow players made about him.

We've got bigger fish to fry i.e. RG3, RT, WR, BPA, etc.. Getting Hillis signed and avoiding the long term deal for now is perfect.
