And with the second overtime winding down he is still at 9 0 and 5 while the monster that is Mario Chalmers is at 22 6 and 8

He played like 1 minute in the second half. And the Heat might beat the Hawks in 2OT, therefore they're playing like dick, and Cole shoulda been playin more.

The Heat without LBJ and Wade are expected to crush The Hawks? What world do you live in.

The Hawks are a moronic team, but christ, they are still a playoff squad.

And again, fucking Mario Chalmers, who is ass cobbler, is going off.

They'd be better off with Cole and Chalmers. Harris on the pine. But no, if the Hawks weren't so god damn dysfunctional, they would beat the lebronless and dwadeless heat handily. But JC 3 OT!

Neither Chalmers nor Cole could guard Joe Johnson for six seconds. They cannot be on the floor together. Just stop.

From what I've seen of Norris Cole this year, the guys even money to get his neck rung by one of the big 3.

That cat's a chucker.

Of course, if he was makin' them, i'd be "not afraid."

It's fucking YSU.

IOW: who cares. It's CSU - Not even a real school.

I don't really know.

He's not very good.

He was a very late first round pick, w00t.

leo bumped this thread as an I told you so over his monster 20 point game.

He's a fringe rotation point guard. Ryan Hollins is a fringe rotation center. w00t

Never once in the original conversation did I say that Cole would be a good NBA player. The only NBA reference I made was that he was a legit NBA prospect at that time.

My point the whole time was that the 40, 20 and 9 game was an amazing feat, regardless of level or competition. It didn't come against Duke, but nobody else was putting up those numbers against YSU either.

Eyo was the one that questioned Cole's ability and NBA future, which is why I bumped this when I did (I could have bumped it on draft night as well and Eyo would have been wrong then too). This thread wasn't started as an NBA discussion. I simply brought up the NBA to show that other people in the know were giving Cole credit while Eyo refused.

Eyo can continue to twist it anyway he wants, like coming back to say that he always said Cole would be a fringe NBA player (he never said that), but in the original discussion, Eyo was wrong. Just the fact that Cole was drafted proves that and I could care less what he does after. The 20 point game before I bumped this was just icing. But never anywhere did I say anything about Cole's NBA future.

I just went back and re-read (skimmed) the thread. I'm not sure I see where e0y said much of that stuff. If was more him saying that he wasn't really that impressed with Cole going off against YSU, and then calling him a 2nd round draft pick. I guess he implied that Cole would be nothing more than a fringe NBA role player.

I'm not sure anything has happened this season yet to decide one way or the other if he is a role player or something more. I'd be very happy to see Cole become a great NBA PG, if only because he seems like a good dude and I have no reason to hope for anything other than that.

I did enjoy your back and forth with JB about CSU, though.
