Cleveland Browns & The NFL

We're doing something big for this year's NFL Draft. Haven't finalized the plans yet, but I did want to post in here to open it up to any ideas from readers.

1st round of the RG3 Cleveland Coronation is Thursday night, April 26th.

Indians also play a home game against the Royals that day at noon.

Possibilities of the ways to go with this are endless.

Forget the strip club. A couple hours after Heckgren drafts "middle guard Surly MacComber of Sleazebo Community College" with the Browns' #4 pick, you'll have to scrape all the loyal TCFers off the floor of whatever tavern you're populating.

The point is to make Thursday an all-day thing with a Tribe day game. Followed by 3-4 hours of drinking before the draft.

It's not a matter of geography. It's logistics.

I figured that we would just go somewhere downtown after the Tribe game. I can make to wherever is decided, though.

But I wanted to make sure that this was a real thing before I told my office manager I'm out that day and started looking for someone to cover. I want to make sure a lot of you assholes are in on this. I don't want to take the day off and end up at the game with Rat Tail looking for his fuckin' car keys.

The downtown rescue mission has plenty of places places for old crazy men. Cheap, too. You may have to sit through bible study for your free meal, but its an acceptable trade off.
