geez-o-pete, how far have the cavs fallen when they can't even get a recap article on here the day after they play a tough game (albeit a loss) against lequit shames and the miami cheat???

you mean to tell me that people would be more interested in reading about the awards for a 4-12 browns team, a disgraced coach who assumed room temperature 4.5 days ago, a fraud of a pitcher who bilked the indians out of $14 million under an assumed name and some obscure hockey player on a minor league hockey team from back in the 70's???

something's not right in denmark!!!

that's just it, i expected a recap of the game and i got bupkiss!!! i just loathe having to go to espn.com for my cleveland sports recaps because they're always so biased against us. i much prefer to use theclevelandfan.com. oh well, maybe next time.

Dave- how many times have we messed that up this season?

To answer your question, no, the cavs don't warrant an article. They blow. Until they beat a couple dregs again then we can get the 7th Seed chant rolling again and put Tristan Thompson's jersey in the rafter. Hey, he can jump up there and hang it himself!!!!

But they haven't warranted an article all season yet they've been there every single day after a game.

It was a technical issue and tonight's game will be there (I hope).

I'm glad you really look forward to it and read them. I am. I appreciate it. But damn, it didn't happen on purpose. Especially not last night.

Ha! I don't write 'em. Thank God. That'd mean I had to watch 'em. Not happening if there's anything else I can be doing.

I think Demetri has the honors tonight but I'll be looking for it to make sure Dave ain't disappointed.

Kudos to the guys recapping games, cause that can't be fun.

Congrats to the Cavs for beating some bad teams, and looking like they did a decent job in a weak draft.....but Christ are most of these games awful. The Cavs/Knicks tilt.....was that even an NBA game? Only plays made in that game last night were a direct result of bad/stupid play. If for some godforsaken reason one of these teams cleared half court without dribbling it off their foot or throwing the ball away, they'd proceed to set half court offense back a century.

Wow Dave. You do realize that most, if not all, of the TCF writers have, you know, jobs and stuff. I wrote for a while, and I'd like to do it again (just finding it hard to get it kicked back into gear), but it was fucking hard. Last year I filled in with some other guys doing what we could for Cavs recaps, but more than once I had to email Peek in a panic because I wasn't going to get home from work in time to watch the game. Again. It's hard.

You may have noticed that TCF has added some great new writers, and content here seems to be at an all time high. I try to read everything and find it difficult to keep up sometimes. The stuff here is great, and it's by far the best content of any Cleveland Sports website.

So, before you come here and start a thread with the purpose of dropping a giant deuce on the best site in Cleveland, you might want to consider the hard work that the guys put in here DAILY.

To paraphrase Col. Jessup :Swerb have neither the time nor the inclination to explain himself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very website that he provides, and then questions the manner in which he provide it! I would rather you just said "Thank you," and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you start up a website, and write a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

BTW - I think Greg's Blast from the Past series is great. I didn't know a damn thing about the Crusaders.

The Steve Everitt one was my favorite.

FYI

A slight by dave is one of the best things to ever happen to the site.

Rumors that TCF was being thought of poorly by Mr. Cutoffhisfinger has produced the single largest spike in TCF viewership since Peeks took a couple weeks off from The Wrap. At least that is what my sources are telling me.

Besides, it isn't like he said Swerb is pathetic and the most irrelevant thousandaire in the world.

You and e0y2e3 should do a buddy comedy.

Call it "Dick and Dick's Hilarious Internet Adventures"

FUDU get a cameo and motherscratcher is the dopey, nerdy dentist guy, Like in the Hangover.

I should be played by Clive Owen.

i am fully aware that all of the awesome people who write articles on the website here does so on a voluntary basis and all have "day jobs" and so to expect a recap of every cavs game would most certainly be an unrealistic expectation. but it's not like the cavs played minnesota, memphis, washington or charlotte or one of the other dreg teams of the nba.

this game was against miami!!! hello???

i just thought with the magnitude of the game coming against the faux king, the choden one, the prince of thieves, aka lequit shames, who stabbed cavs fans in the back in front of a nationwide tv audience and took his talents to souff beach to play for the miami cheat, that there would have been some sort of a recap the next day. after all, there are recaps every day after average, every-day indians games as well as multiple recaps on sunday evenings and monday mornings following browns games all the time and there have already been a number of recaps of cavs games this year that were put on the site the very next day, so why shouldn't i expect to see a recap of this game???

i meant no disrespect towards the site or any of the writers on the site at all. i love this site. it's where i go for all my cleveland sports reading. it just goes to show you exactly how far the cavs have fallen in their pecking order of importance on this site when they can't even get a simple recap article the day after they play against their former "saviour" and actually play him pretty tough. that was the only point i was trying to make. if i offended anyone, i'm truly sorry. that wasn't my intention at all.

There wasn't even a game thread. I'm a total Cavaliers homer and Dan Gilbert fanboi and my enthusiasm (at least for posting online) waned about 5 games in...

Most everyone has moved beyond anything regarding Miami Heat/LBJ. If this were Dec 2nd 2010 and there was no recap, then get angry.

Re: wow!!! cavs don't even warrant an article???

Like I said, it was a technical error/lack of communication.

Here's the review:

The talent-lacking Cavs, missing the superbly athletic 4th pick of the draft in Tristan Thompson, played hard and lost in Miami the other night.

Which is great because, as we all know, losing with dignity and not shitting yourself is all we ask as Cleveland fans.

Keep it close, lose with pride and just wait until that next draft.

this game was against miami!!! hello???

i just thought with the magnitude of the game coming against the faux king, the choden one, the prince of thieves, aka lequit shames, who stabbed cavs fans in the back in front of a nationwide tv audience and took his talents to souff beach to play for the miami cheat, that there would have been some sort of a recap the next day. after all, there are recaps every day after average, every-day indians games as well as multiple recaps on sunday evenings and monday mornings following browns games all the time and there have already been a number of recaps of cavs games this year that were put on the site the very next day, so why shouldn't i expect to see a recap of this game???

i meant no disrespect towards the site or any of the writers on the site at all. i love this site. it's where i go for all my cleveland sports reading. it just goes to show you exactly how far the cavs have fallen in their pecking order of importance on this site when they can't even get a simple recap article the day after they play against their former "saviour" and actually play him pretty tough. that was the only point i was trying to make. if i offended anyone, i'm truly sorry. that wasn't my intention at all.

Seriously though, why don't you ever use capital letters?

Ha! I don't write 'em. Thank God. That'd mean I had to watch 'em. Not happening if there's anything else I can be doing.

I think Demetri has the honors tonight but I'll be looking for it to make sure Dave ain't disappointed.

Done and done.

ask and you shall receive. hee-hee!!! now is it too much to ask for even just one of our teams to win a championship??? 1964 and counting . . . ::doh::

Dave, your mea culpa exposes me as being too defensive. I try to teach my kids to laugh things off but sometimes I suck at it.

Mother, don't know how to say thank you for the Blast shout-out without sounding like an attention whore, so screw it- thanks! Time can pass without feedback and you start to wonder if others are into that stuff. Greg
