That dwarf really got his team ready for this game. Looks like a team that is on a roll while LSU is looking like they're in spring practice mode. Don't know how much longer in this game that D can bend w/o breaking.

Just had a shot of the BCS Trophy on the goal line after a commercial break. If they leave it there neither team is in danger of getting close to it.

These SEC kickers are something else though.

Didn't even have a chance to check out Claiborne as Alabama chose not to throw to his side at all.

Only thing good to come out of this game is the BCS taking a look at what it did and finding ways to improve it (ie +1)

I'd agree with Swerb that this was the worst season ever.

I'm also in the minority I suppose, that I'd much rather see last night than all the 900 yars jokes I've been seeing all bowl season. A 20 yard play MEANT something last night.

And for a team in that SEC to never be behind during clock time all season long.....like it or not, that's the best team in the country.

I used to really like that team on game a few seasons ago, Musberger was difficult to listen to last night.

LSU is awful at the skilled positions except RB.

Randle & Beckham are both pretty good. Their QBs are at least aiiiiight, for college QBs.

That team failed to score at least 35 points in three games this season. Once against Mississippi State, and twice against Alabama.

Bama's defense is just that good. (And so, for that matter, is LSU's. I thought McCarron played really well last night.)

Either one of those teams would have housed Oklahoma State, Stanford, and anyone else you would have put out there.

Terrible game, though. I enjoyed the first matchup. But that was just the slowest developing blowout I've ever seen.

For all the broadcasters' talk about what a brilliant mind Les Miles is, can't understand how he didn't pull Jefferson and at least go to Lee for a series or two. I am not a huge follower of LSU football but know both guys have had their ups and downs, just can't figure out how you can't bring the other guy in considering all the experience he had gained during the regular season. Could he have been any worse?

Good recruiter? Not even a question. There's some HUGE advantages to being in that location right next to football hotbeds like Texas and Louisana

But Urbz and Saban could both run circles around him.

This title game was the lowest rated in BCS History.

This is a good thing. In between the actual game itself, and the methodology used to determine the team being ripped on by both fans and sports writers a like

A plus one is hopefully coming and coming next year. Although we would have likely seen a similar final this year with the format at least we'd have been able to settle those nagging comments from Stillwater, OK. It would have generated a lot of excitement for the sport, and at least, at it's more simple

With already championships in the ACC, Big XII (coming soon), SEC, B1G, Big East (coming soon) and PAC 12 already in existence, you already have a de-facto playoff anyway. Adding a plus 1 helps even more in that regard.

LSU's offense has been a bit over rated all season. They had 6 defensive TDs and IIRC 2 ST TDs as well. Not saying they sucked mind you, just not what they appeared to be from afar.
