K2 had almost double the yards and more TD's in 3 seasons than Heiden had in 8 seasons.

HoodooMan wrote:Did Verba ever actually play guard here? My hazy memory has him at OG the same way Sheldon Brown's been at FS since he's been here (and often Anthony Henry before him)--as fan-favored position switches, no?
And I remember Robert Griffith being pretty bad. Could Ward's one good year last year be enough to put him ahead? And maybe Mike Adams should take one of the safety spots as a kind of lifetime achievement award.
Shaun Rodgers at DT?
My RB pick: Ben Gay

QB - Kelly Holcomb (this might be the worst)
RB - Jamal Lewis (for one freaking year)
WR - Kevin Johnson, Braylon Edwards
TE - Steve Heiden (KW2 is close 2nd)
FB - Lawrence Vickers
LT - Joe Thomas
RT - Ryan Tucker
C - Alex Mack
G - Eric Steinbach, Ross Verba
DT - Ahtyba Rubin, Orpheus Roye
DE - Robaire Smith, Jabaal Sheard (that's how bad it's been)
LB - Jamir Miller, D'Qwell Jackson, Andra Davis (god, this is hideous)
CB - Anthony Henry, Daylon McCutcheon
S - Robert Griffith, Sean Jones
K - Phil Dawson
P - Reggie Hodges
KR - Josh Cribbs
PR - Dennis Northcutt
LS - Ryan Pontbriand
Coach - Butch Davis
GM - Tom Heckert
Owner - Al Lerner
And this team wins... 10 games? Max?

HoodooMan wrote:For an All-Worst Team, I think you'd have to have some minimum number of starts (16ish, maybe), or else it would just be a mess.

OK...but now I just started looking, and that makes things pretty tough. Frye's my easy choice at QB, but none of Kirby, Prentice, or Jackson quite made it to 16 starts.
So how about a minimum of 10 starts?
QB: Charlie Frye
RB: Travis Prentice
TE: Darnell Sanders, maybe? (Neither Dudley nor Sellers made it to 10 starts, growl)
WR: Brian Robiskie, Darrin Chiaverini
OL: Pretty much everyone from 99-06 except Tucker & Faine
DE: Several guys I don't remember, a few guys (like Tyrone Rogers) who were at least decent pass rushers, and a whole lot of mediocrity. So ???
DT: Shaun Smith, Corey Williams
OLB: Rahim Abdullah, Chaun Thompson
ILB: Wali Rainer, Ben Taylor
CB: Brandon McDonald & ???
S: Marquis Smith, Percy Ellsworth maybe?
Oh, and:
HC: Mangini
GM: Kokinis
Owner: Randy

Zahursky, Rehberg, Chenoine must have their brush with immortality.
And at DT, Jurko and Stalin Colinet would like a word.

^Too many guys I don't remember.
Also, I realized while doing this that somewhere along the line I conflated Earl Little & Mike Adams in my memory, though I think it's possible they're actually the same person.

Joaquin Gonzalez. Barry Stokes. Roman Oben. Egads, the list is hideous.
