Cavs lose the second game of a back-to-back on the road. It happens. It happens a lot. Not that big a deal.
The rookies got introduced to their first NBA back-to-back. KI and TT combined to go 3-of-18 from the field. There will be a lot of back-to-backs in this compressed season so they'll have to learn to deal with it more effectively.
A couple of positive things came out of it. The Cavs hit 22-of-26 free throws, or 85%, which is a dramatic improvement over the 65% they put up in the first five games.
Casspi actually looked like a professional basketball player with 10 points, 5 boards, 2 assists and only one turnover in 24 minutes. Maybe he'll settle down and turn into a decent contributor.
Cavs had no answer for Bargnani and Calderon. Barg put up 31 points and a +22. When the Cavs tried to make a 4th quarter run he nailed four long range shots to put the game away. Must be nice to have a seven-footer with that kind of range.
