YouTube in full meltdown after Ron Paul finishes 3rd behind a cardboard Mormon and some other guy in Iowa. Apparently it was rigged, the ballots are kept in secret locations, and of course ZIONISTS!

Hey dick (you ^) here comes my boy Huntsman!

http://bostonglobe.com/opinion/editoria ... story.html

This guy is so much better than Obama (and the other GOP candidates). I bet you'd even break down and vote for him.

Which is why I called him the dark horse....

I don't mind him. But I would never vote for him.

I expect Santorum to plummet in NH since there isn't as many rube evangelicals there as in Iowa. He's the biggest scumbag in the race and his Google name fits him perfectly, greasy shit matter.

I wish Huntsman would support national legalization of marijuana, instead of leaving it up to the states. State tyranny is no better than Federal tyranny.

Likely to be on the ballot in CO in November for full legalization. If one state goes it will spread quickly IMO

Because he wants to cut taxes on the rich down to 23% and raise taxes on the rest of us. He would get rid of taxes on capital gains and dividends. I'm sick and fucking tired of those who have it all getting more at the expense of those who have little or nothing.

It's the rotten core of everything that the is GOP. Money rules and everyone else is left to fight for hind tit.

That's great for Colorado, but it does nothing for the people who live elsewhere. If people in CO have the right to grow and smoke dope, so should everyone else.

I have a jelly jar full of high quality seeds, so i'm ready.

You realize his tax plan is essentially the plan put together by Obama's Debt Commission that he completely ignored. He is talking about lowering everyone's taxes while eliminating all the deductions. Who do you think uses more deductions rich people or poor people?

You state all of this under the pre-tense that Obama is magically going to tax rich people and give it to poor people, while that is what he wants to do, he has no prayer. 50% already don't pay income tax so I am not sure how it is at the expense of people who have little or nothing.

Quick question: is keeping or raising the capital gains taxes creating jobs in the US or pushing them overseas due to lower capital gain rates?

Besides if taxes were higher the entire recession would be far far worse.*

* based on the logic that with out the stimulus things would be far worse. The best idea would be to spend $787,000,000,000 on 700,000 jobs. All the while drowning out the private investment (ie. the billions democrats are always complaining about the corporations sitting on) and puta net drag on the economy Yet you are criticizing the ideas of Huntsman?

You act like i'm endorsing Obama. I'm not. He should be impeached. I want poor people to have deductions.

Quick question(s): Has lowering CG created any jobs? Has lowering taxes on corporations or the rich created any jobs? Will cutting those taxes do anything but decrease revenue?

Go ahead those taxes down to zero, i'm sure we'll be swimming in jobs.

At least i'm not bashing his goofy religion.....

Can't bash his religion, I am going to find that extra funny when the democrats try to do it after all of their bitching and complaining about Obama being called a Muslim and/or Jeremiah Wright. Don't be such a bigot.

OMG imagine the economy had it not been done. The Bush/Obama tax cuts saved the economy.

The biggest point is Obama is toxic, and a majority of that is due to the GOP not working with him. A guy like Huntsman who pisses off both sides on different issues could be the guy that turns things around because Tebow knows Obama can't.

http://www.responsibletaxes.org/resourc ... -policies/

According to Politfact, the private sector lost a total of 653,000 jobs from January 2001 to January 2009, government jobs increased by 1.09 million.

And our highest number of job losses came in 2008 , which both of your tables leave out (not saying you did it on purpose, obviously you didn't).

I'll go get my life jacket.

Edit: And i'm a bigot toward all religion, not just Huntsman's stupid magic underpants and guy reading shit out of a hat nonsense. Mormonism is about a half a peg up from Scientology in terms of utter hilarity and ability to be mocked and laughed at.

Plus southern Republicans will handle that shit for me...... like they're being invaded by Mongol hordes....you already got different factions saying Mormons aren't even Christians.

I didnt do it on purpose, but that is the most relevant. The problem is all of this economic stuff is analyzed in a vacuum. Taxes are lower, jobs didnt blow up in 2010 thus tax cuts don't work. Between 2000 and 2002 was the internet bubble collapsing and 9/11 in 2008 was its own clusterfuck. There are far too many factors going on in the economy to say taxes were lower and jobs didn't get created thus it is the fault of lower taxes. During 2003-2007 things were relatively calm and can be examined with greater clarity. This is at least my opinion, I am sure you disagree. What happened on Wall Street was not the fault of lower taxes and who knows how much better or worse things would have been with the rich paying an additional 3.9%.

I dont really have the time or energy to fully break down that second link, but I will say they essentially ignore the 2003 tax cuts and its effect and how the GDP after those cuts were far higher than their 2.3% average when they start their analysis in 2001 which IMO has many other factors that need to be considered than tax cuts. Concerning the second point that source says 137 million jobs in 2007 my graph shows 146, too lazy to figure out who is actually correct but it makes a huge difference obviously.

I watched the whole debate last night. I thought Gingrich did excellent. I thought Romney did OK, but looked awful, nervous, and evasive when challenged to release his tax returns. It's that type of shit from Romney that just reminds you he's not an elite candidate that has lost every election he's been in but one.

End of the day, I expect Newt to get a surge and do well enough down south to stay in this thing a couple more weeks. Everyone else will be and should be done after FL. And we'll be down to the only two legit candidates in this shit field.

I'm sitting there watching this thing last night, just aghast that some of these guys have actually made it this far. Santorum? He's mega-religious and conservative and lost a Senate race by 20+ points in 2006 and hasn't worked since. This guy almost won Iowa? Perry is just a bumbling moron. It's just painful to watch this guy speak, and even more uncomfortable to watch the goofy ass facial expressions he makes while trying to. And Ron Fucking Paul ... go away. Over there leaning on the podium to stay standing, sounding like my wife nagging me when he's crying about how mean we are to other countries. Enough. Go try and find Mordor and leave me alone.

Then you have these far right crowds at these things ... blowing off air horns when calls for more war come up, cheering racism ... the candidates playing off of it by talking about bullets in people heads and describing how they want to violently off terrorists.

Whole process has been bizarre. With a god awful field. Romney and Newt are both skilled but flawed politicians. Both have given Obama, a very skilled, well spoken, and likable politician ... all kinds of ammo.

Spot on Swerb.

The crowd, the questioners, the whole production and the talent is a massive nuisance.

Both sides have worn me to a point where I can find no hope in either side or any candidate.

I think his foreign policy is a damn sight better than Romney or Newt's. We'll end up in Iran if either of those 2 fucks get the nod. Shit..... Gingrich is practically modeling the new desert fatigues now.

But you're also a Zionist shill agent of the Illuminati Bohemian Grove crowd. Fluoride loving fuck.

Too many debates. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool conservative, and even I'm tired of them all. God-awful is right: Lots of warts exposed. Before the debates started, there were at least four candidates I'd vote for; now, all my options pretty much suck for one reason or another.

I think this will be about the easiest election to handicap ever.

All based on the economy. If it appears that we'll continue small progress out of the recession Obama stays. If we're headed toward the second wave, and unemployment suffers, it'll be whatever hump the Repubs put up.

Nobody likes anybody.

Ziner any chance you could put up a pie chart or some type of graph regarding sweater vests in relation to Rick's chances?

Newt, in a rout, in SC.

Wow, just when you thought that the guy who can't beat Obama had it sewn up, here comes another guy who can't beat Obama.

Yeah ... provided the economy continues to slowly and painfully improve, its gonna be hard for either of these guys to beat Obama. The debates will be fun though.

Two man race BTW ... Santorum not being able to get more than 17% in SC after that debate performance Thurs night is the end of his campaign. He's done.

What about a brokered convention? Seriously I thought I saw somewhere where 564 delegates are completely going to be split by Romney and Paul because of the other candidates not getting on the ballots in a few states like Missouri and Virginia. This could be a pretty damn fun summer. I thought I read Ohio bent over and grabbed their ankles for Newt, but that Virginia said, nope, fuck off, you didn't get the 10k signatures. Did Ohio bend the rules and let Newt on?

I will vote for Paul at the Florida primary even though he chose to avoid spending much money in Florida or South Carolina and thus really has no chance in this state. I am really bothered by the very fact that SOPA got as far as it did and it has me really questioning the GOP at this point. What kind of republican could sponsor that bill, and it's happening way too often these days. So many strange bedfellows forming right now with all the power grabbing going on in DC. Obama signing NDAA after saying he wouldn't?? Christopher Dodd is pimping SOPA for Hollywood, and R-Lamar Smith who sponsored the bill was a pretty cheap whore for the industry and is now working on part 2. I agree it's a two-man race but I am hoping Paul is greasing the skids for less nutty Rand in 2016. (assuming Obama wins). My problem with the GOP whores right now is that so many of them, are pro-business rather than pro-market.

That said Newton as divisive as he can be, is so damn sharp in debates. Christ can you imagine Obama stuttering and stammering while Newt kills the guy with fact recollection.

Obama "stuttering and stammering"? Maybe I've seen the wrong debates and speeches, but that guy can talk his ass off.

Oh he is great in a set speech, its more the interviews, pressers, and town halls when confronted where he becomes a bit more clumsy in his oration.

Debates would be interesting not only because Newt is great at them and Obama can sometimes stammer around, but because Obama could back Newt in a corner and he will explode.

Exactly - Newt has already said that as the candidate he would challenge Obama to seven three hour long debates, right out of the gate. He's already goading him every chance he gets.

Would be hysterical watching Obama holding back from wanting to punch Newt after about halfway into the second debate. Newt is smart, witty, quick on his feet, and ruthless. And like OJ says, he can also always melt down and explode. The debates would be some of the best ever IMO.

Ron Paul can go now. We've seen enough of your Magical Constitution Humping Mystery Tour. Go back to the fringes with Lew Rockwell and your circle jerk fantasy of a race war.
