Fire Shurmer at halftime; he couldn't make worse decisions if he tried. He has to be using a Magic 8-ball or something. I'm just waiting for Ashton Kutcher to show up in Cleveland with his Punk'd film crew and tell the entire city "Gotcha! Here's your real coach guys!" and then any other person in America comes out and we'd be better off.

Is he available? He'd probably be a better coach next year for Colt, and the Browns as a whole, than Shurmur.

If you can be replaced by NOBODY in your job, and it stays the same or gets better, well, that's pretty much the definition of useless at best.

A team that was:

Outta timeouts in the 3rd.

F'd up the half worse than a bad high school team

Had a guy fall for the "old offsides" schtik in crunch time.....

I mean Christ, if there was nobody manning the head coaching position things would have turned out worse?

Coach is a joke, teams a joke, organization is a joke, and Walrus is a joke.

Other than that, cruising right along.

Perfect day. Team loses with 'dignity' when Ravens stop playing at half, draft spot strengthened and moronic Head Coach is nationally ridiculed for play calling/clock management and having his 400lb DT show all the discipline if a drunk at an open bar.

Really, ya couldn't have hoped for more today out if this 'organization'.

Shurmur was quoted after the game as saying he did not call the play and he would never call a running play with no time outs and so little time left. Apparently they couldn't communicate with Wallace for some reason and he lost track of the situation and called the play.

He also called about five timeouts when he came up to the LOS and was confused about either the play or the defense, leaving the Browns short of timeouts when they needed them at the end of both halves. To be fair to Wallace, possibly someone else on the Browns didn't know his assignment. They were playing some really raw guys like Cameron and Mitchell.

There was also the bad throw resulting in an interception on the first series and the idiotic 4th down throw to Hillis behind the LOS, trapped against the sideline, with a linebacker right in his grill.

Wallace has some tools but doesn't seem to know what's going on out there.

And by the way, why is Hillis even in the game on 4th-and-5? They should go with four WRs and Obi.

Nice to see that Cribbs isn't totally done as a kick returner. Hillis also had a nice game, but his inability to run wide limits the offense. He says he wants to stay in Cleveland but I'm wondering if the Browns are even interested.

Well we better damn well keep Hillis or we have no one. The guy runs well last game and today and has a 4.7 yards per carry. If the browns were going to get rid of him they would be running hardesty to see what they have in him. If you don't have Hillis, then you don't have anyone IMO. You guys have seen how difference the offense looks without him in the game. If you don't have Hillis you don't open up the pass with the run and more...
