Erie Warrior wrote:As we watch Andrus push a bunt past Carpenter how much time do you guys spend on pitchers fielding practice during spring training?

Is it a focal point coming up through the organization now and specifically in Cleveland? Can a pitcher get appreciably better controlling the running game with both his move and altering his timing to the plate?

Cufflinks are pure class.

I normally don't shake unles i feel like i can go to my strength and have the conviction that im going to get the guy out. but occassionally the catcher will put in a shake in order to play head games with the batter.gotribe31 wrote:Love the blog, it really gives you a great insight into how pitchers attack hitters in key situations. Most fans never get to see anything that in-depth on the mental side of the game. A couple of questions:
1) How often do you shake off your catcher? If you have a particular pitch/location in mind, do you automatically stick to that if the catcher puts down a different sign? Or do you pretty much let him call the game?
2) Who actually calls pitches for the Indians most of the time? Is it the catcher or the coaching staff? What about in Columbus?
3) Who do you prefer to throw to, Marson or Santana and why? Obviously not looking for you to throw a teammate under the bus or anything, just wondering who you (and the staff) like better.
4) Who is your least-favorite team in the division?
I'm sure I'll come up with more before Monday. Thanks for doing this.

What kind works best for you and do you have any stories from college or pros of a coaches meeting that had an impact on you?

* What are your thoughts on Belcher leaving?
* Your impressions of Radinsky? Doesn't seem like you two were with the same clubs at the same time in the minors- but you have worked with him since your call-up this year?
* What specifically is he good at as he handles pitchers? What was Belcher good at?

Why is Cinderella so underappreciated?
When you play in the NL parks, do you get to pick a some in the unlikely event that Acta completely loses his mind and sends you to the plate?

So, if you got to hit, what song would you come out to. Personally I would probably go with something from Color Me Badd.
