Next year's flavor of the day will surpass Barkley. It happens almost every year. Someone like Cam or RGIII will be a breakout player.

I don't begrudge the kid staying. It's fine. If he's staying to be a kid and a student (and by all accounts he's a good one of each) then whatever. But I do agree a top 10 pick going back to hopefully improve his draft status (and again I'm not saying he is) is crazy in this new NFL financial environment. It would cost him more to Locker it then he stands to make if he nails it, no?

Agree with this. He's way more likely to follow Locker's path (or worse) than Luck's. Not a smart move career-wise, but, like Peeker said, if he just wants to enjoy his youth, then whateva.

Hopefully he hasn't carried that Uber-Christian thing to virginity like Tebow has, though. If that's the case, then he's got no damn reason to be staying in school.

Depends on the order they fall in. If the Colts fall all the way to #3, then the overall cost comes down because you are willing to go to either 1 or 2 and take either QB.
