Way OT, but the suits in NY have to realize that the NFL is on the road to being the NBA if the league does not roll back the O friendly rules and make it possible to not only compete but win a sausage with a QB who is not a first ballot HOF'er? I mean they have to see this, no?
We can hope. But maybe, like the NBA, they look at the ratings and say "You can't argue with the numbers", ignoring the fact that more people are tuning in hoping to see the hated teams lose than to watch their favorite team win.
The NBA had good numbers last year, and I can't remember a time when less people liked it. The NFL can certainly head down that road, since the must-have-elite-QB policy is negating a huge chunk of teams before the season even begins. People will start tuning in only to see other teams lose since their team is out of it before it begins.
