At 4-8: Browns, Dolphins, Eagles, Redskins, Panthers, Buccaneers, Chargers (4-7, play tonight).

All likely to win another game IMO. Our only chance of screwing up our shot at whatever QB we want is in Arizona.

We lose out, we get #4 or #5 overall, and get our QB. And losing out is probably our only hope of Walrus cutting bait on his boy Shurmur.

1) I've been a McCoy advocate since he was drafted, but realistically he hasn't proven anything--yet.

2) The Browns are much more desperate at other positions (we all know what they are) to worry about drafting a QB.

3) But it WOULD be interesting to see a 2012 training-camp battle between Colt and RG3, since either one probably would make a very, very good back-up or starter-in-training.

4) Can't have too many good QBs on the roster, and open competition is never bad (unless you end up flipping a coin to determine the winner).

5) Conclusion: if RG3 is available, grab him!

QB is by far the most important position in today's NFL. Therefore, if you don't have a guy that is or has a good chance of becoming AT LEAST a really good QB, that is your biggest need.

The idea of yet another year of trying to get by with McCoy/Quinn/Couch/Holcomb/Dilfer/Garcia/Frye is excrutiating (I put DA in a whole other class of suck).

There are some natural pros for Barkley , he has more game experience in a pro set for one .

However in a world if you believe LUCk Barkley and RG3 are the top prospects out there .

Luck has a super package bringing both physicality and the mental smarts of a coach to a position , where he could be a fixture for a decade at 6' 4" he's no Cam Newton or Tebow , but he can run dissect defenses make the right read and throw and sac up under pressure , propelling a team of lesser men around him into places they'd never make without him.

Barkley has had it made all his life , but he's also played QB all his life , he has a quick release and goes quickly thru his progressions but has the weakest arm of the three and is the least athletic .

RG3 graduated both high school and College early , so he's as cerebral as Bernie , but possesses a far better arm and sprinters speed as a World class 4oo meter hurdle competitor.

He'd enter the roster as one of the fastest players in the NFL with a quicker release than Dan Marino and the best arm in this entire QB class with a phenomenal completion rate that hovers at 73 %, he's been exposed to pro coaching with June Jones on the roster and he's earned his degree while being younger than Luck or Barkley.

He single handily destroyed Texas the top rated defense in the big 12 , simply shredded them like toilet paper in what was supposed to be his toughest test.

If Not for Luck he'd be the number one QB pick in the draft , wouldn't throw Barkley outta bed unless it was for LUCK or RG3 .

Lots of cap space next year, and a lot of nice WR's becoming available. Even if you get a middle of the road veteran type, and you pair him with Little/Mass/Norwood, I have to believe a good QB gets them the ball and a not-shitty coach calls plays that don't have half the defense waiting at the LOS.

I also recognize that there is a high possibility that they are in place to take RG3 and don't, and although I will feel it's a mistake, I will be able to accept it with a minimum of whining. I will also settle in for yet another year of super-fun QB debate and another year of suck.

It's all coming down to that game in Arizona next week vs the Cardinals.

If they lose it, they'll be in great position to get the non-Luck QB of their choice. If they win that game, they're likely to fall behind at least 1 or 2 teams expected to take QB.

The second biggest hole on this team is impact players, right behind QB. They have non. You cannot keep backing up and adding middle round talent 3 out of every 4 years, this year, with an extra first is the year you finally fucking stick in the top ten and get someone who can make something happen on the damn field.

Our best two players were both picked in the top ten for a reason. Time to add another one of "those guys."

This Draft is different for my than in years past because I dont really really want any one player, save for Luck or RG3 and I dont htink they will be there. There are a lot of players I would like to have.
