Yay for Cavs Preseason? Vs Detroit 12/16

I'm home with plenty of beer and Cavs preseason basketball is back!

Kyrie nearly sprains his ankle, stayed down with a grimace, but got back up and looks good. This team won't be worst in the NBA. Maybe 22-44. Not just based on less than half of a preseason game. There's some talent and athleticism on the team.

Early 12/15 man predictions.

-Irving, Sessions, Gibson
-Parker, Eyenga
-Casspi, Gee
-Jamison, Thompson, Samuels
-Varejao, Hollins, Erdan

I think the last 2 spots are up for grabs, but the top 3 will be Harris, Harangody, and Mychel Thompson. A feeling Thomspson gets a spot on the 15...very talented family and good size. Gotta keep all the bigs you have, and see what you have this year. You already know you need a quality 2 and 3, just need to know if AV or Erdan are going to have a shot to start on a good team in this system.

Irving looks great. I like Harangody on the 15...his college numbers were fantastic.

This team will sneak up on people and win some games early. But as the season wears on the holes at 2,3, and 5 will get exposed.

Playing a bad Pistons team, and look bad, which is good. Don't see much vocal leadership or swag that will will a few wins. Yup, well on our way to another high pick.

Carolina/Kentucky a few weeks back had more NBA quality players than this pre-season game.

Play is gonna be really, really ugly league-wide until sometime in February.

I have no idea how this team scores if Jamison isn't hitting shots.

Kyrie looks really good getting to the rim and drawing fouls. Thompson certainly has the fine art of hacking down pat.
