Andre Ward vs Carl Froch on Showtime.

I have been very fortunate to get to know Andre Ward and this is going to be exciting for me to watch. I don't see Andre losing but Froch is a very skilled boxer. He's got a great style and can be dirty at times. A lot of people think Andre uses his head and elbows so it's going to interesting to see how this all unfolds.

Andre is determined and hungry and still views himself as a huge underdog. He gets better every fight and has been able to impose his will on every opponent that he has ever stepped in with.

Saturday is going to be fun.
Tune in and root on one of the best guys in the sport. He truly is a class act.

A clinic. Andre Ward put on a clinic last night. What a fighter!

Ward is so smart. He is constantly doing the little things that make him so hard to fight. Moves is head and feet, and really hard to hit. A bull inside. Can just make fights ugly, and win the inside game against guys like Froch that are bigger and stronger than him. It's impossible to get comfortable in there against him. Froch's plan was to get off to a quick start, apply pressure, and dictate the tempo. Ward had him frustrated by the middle of the second round.

Ward is also very well trained. Virgil Hunter does a great job in the ring with him.

He is an outstanding fighter and seemingly an even better guy. Third best pound for pound fighter in the sport behind Manny and Pac Man right not for my money.

It is going to be very difficult to beat him for many of the same reasons its going to be hard for anyone to beat Mayweather. Bernstein mentioned that Andre said he watched a lot of tape of Mayweather leading into this one, and it showed. What a smart thing for Ward and his team to do. And he looked like Floyd last night. A lot of head movement, counter punching, and making himself very hard to hit.
