Here are the QB's that Romeo has had at his disposal as a HC:

Trent Dilfer
Charlie Frye
Ken Dorsey
Derek Anderson
Brady Quinn
Bruce Gradkowski
Tyler Palko

I'm surprised more people defending Romeo as a HC because no one could possibly succeed with QB's that suck as much as they do. It's not his fault!

Lest us all remember, people were imploring those of us that saw these mens faults to "give them time". We gave them all too much time. And none have been rehired as NFL head coaches. Which says it all, really.

That might be a touch jaded. Haley was hugely incompetent, enough to get fired in just his 3rd season after a playoff season. Players didn't like him. He was always chirping at other coaches for "running the score up on his team".

The Browns do not have a monopoly on incompetence. And when Shurmur gets fired, someone somewhere else will claim he's more competent than their coach.

I get where you're coming from, my point was that these two jokers suck, but they are still better coaches than Shurmur will ever be. Haley did get the Chiefs to the playoffs with a mediocre roster, but I disagree any other NFL city will claim their coach is worse than Shurmur, other than it being a knee jerk reaction. I just want Shurmur out now rather than next year, and to take the WCO with him, even if that means the Walrus' head rolls too.

If the Browns finish 4-12, there has to at least be a possibility that Walrus pulls plug on his boy.

Not only would it be 4-12, but it would be a really ugly 4-12. One road win against 0-16 Indy. And three ugly squeaker home wins against three of the next worst teams in the league: Miami, Seattle, and Jacksonville. With a home loss to the Rams. A 0-6 record in the division. And what would be losses in their last six games, and nine of the last ten.

This isn't even mentioning Concussed Colt, game mismanagement, and play calling that confuses my six year old.

Is it too crazy to hope that Philly lets Andy Reid go? Would Shurmur agree to be Fickeled under him? Or would Reid agree to be OC? I know there was some sentiment here for that a few weeks ago. Is that kind of hope warranted?

I have a question. Has anyone ever seen Reid and Holmgren together in the same room?

I have this theory that they are the same guy and it's Reidgren's diabolical plan to draw 2 paychecks. The reason we haven't seen Holmgren lately is because he's actually in Philly. He payed off Heckert and sent him here as part of the charade. After this season he's leaving Philly and he'll end up in Cleveland where it will be easier to be in "2 places at once".

I know it sounds ridiculous but it's pretty much bulletproof. Go ahead, punch holes in that theory. I'm all ears.
