Says they made 10 mill in operating income in 2010 and 12 mill last year before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. Values the team at 353 million. Dolans bought it for 323 million in 2000.

We know this can't be right. Dolan made like a billion dollars in profit last year but refused to increase payroll.

Sounds about right. They make a profit, but it's not like they're printing money.

The revenue chart does a nice job of showing that revenue has less to do with actual success than the expectation of success. Revenue is a lagging indicator, have to invest sensibly in the product, etc.
