Even though Miller is not playing great just yet, the difference between him and TP (in the pocket) in respective year 1 is incredible. Miller looks like he has way more promise.

His penchant for holding onto the ballntoo long not withstanding...I'm with FUDU. I think he looks more comfortable than TP did at this point and he aleady throws a better ball than TP ever did.

I think Miller's lack of development this year is startling. He is basically the same QB we saw take the field for a few snaps against Akron. That is not a comment dissing him as much as it is a slap in the face to Nick Siciliano, who apparently is completely worthless as Tressel was obviously the HC, OC and QB coach.

He takes the same 5 bad sacks every game.

Agree on the sacks part, and it looks more and more like you're probably right about the coaching that has taken place in this program the last 10 years. I was always willing to criticize JT for a few things, but man it looks like he might have been the whole show.

Personally I think Miller has really gained confidence with his arm in the last 4 weeks regardless of who gets credit. He looks like he loves to throw the football.

Pryor had 57 TD passes in 3 seasons. At this rate it would take Brax about 6 years to reach that.

Wildcat is just stupid for this offense. Miller is the best RB on the team. Everytime he takes a snap we are in the wildcat. All the WC does is it just ensures that OSU will not be passing.

CDT I'm not disagreeing with some of TP's results, I'm just sayin Miller LOOKS better and more fluid/comfortable.

BTW when you have a Miller/TP you don't run a wildcat, and thank God Urban Meyer knows this.

My strongest criticism of Tressel is the obvious cronyism. Every week it becomes more obvious that he was the ENTIRE OFFENSIVE COACHING STAFF!

Do you really think Bollman was calling plays while Tressel was here? I think the answer is obivously not. I have reports in recent weeks from recent OSU QBs regarding the usefulness of Siciliano.

I know this is a little late, but the next worthwhile thing that Tyler Moeller does will be the first. Guy is laying on the ground looking up on every play.

I have never seen a player go from being a superstar to stiff so fast.

I am now starting to doubt that Moeller was ever awesome. He did well last year in the first 3 games against stiffs, what else has he done?

We need to get him off the field. The guy is getting abused in coverage and at the LOS. He is a liability all over the field. Time for Dominick Clarke? Move Howard to FS.

Personally, I think tOSU's issue with the read option is the LBs. The read is off the WDE, if he crashes in, QB keeps it and takes it out. He plays out, QB hands it off up the middle. The issue tOSU has is that the play gets past the DL pretty quick and it is all on the LBs to make the stop. If they suck, christian Bryant is the first guy with a shot 15 yards downfield.

OSU's LB play is the worst I have ever seen in columbus. I wonder how much of that is Mike Vrabel and how much of it is the hand he was dealt.

I will say that Sweat, Klein and Sabino do not look like they are in peak physical condition. Compare those two to LBs from LSU or 'Bama. Those guys look lean and fast, ours look soft and slow.

None of them can get off blocks (or avoid them). None of them are worth a shit in coverage and only Sabino is really an effective pass rusher.

Hopefully Curtis Grant develops well this year and can push Klein back onto the bench. It is already pretty clear that Shazier will start next year.

Luckily, Meyer will almost certainly run a real 4-3 next year so there will be no more Star and Leo. I really only like those positions when you have the perfect guy for them.
