Once was helping a guy build a deck. Before we got started, another guy was playing with the baby at the house for a few minutes.
The rest of the day, the baby would wait until all was quiet and all of a sudden say in the throaty Exorcist voice, "MOMMY". Dead on.
Baby, unseen through the sliding door curtain: "MOMMY"
The mom of the house: "DOUG!!!"
Doug: "I only said it once!!!"

I don't watch a lot of horror movies but my favorite is probably 28 Days Later. Just a well made movie that happens to be a horror movie.
