He is so good, has evolved into one of my favorite writers. He's good on Twitter too.

Yeah, he is really freaking talented.

Between him and Spencer Hall college football is covered.

I agree, he really has been on a roll, and his work this summer is underviewed.

This appeals to a much broader audience and I hope more people read this one as a result.

Fantastic approach to the topic in this piece.
"I won’t tell you exactly what it’s about, but this is typical of what might happen,'' he said. "I said, ‘Tom, do you want to do this?’ He said, ‘I don’t think I do. I think it’s too much or too strong or whatever.’ I said, ‘well, we might have to.’ And he goes, ‘well, if we have to, then you’ve got to tell me, because I won’t do it.’ And I said, ‘OK, then I might have to tell you. Fine.'''

His piece this summer after Tressel was canned was one of the 10 greatest columns I've ever read in my life.

I'm ashamed to say I had not heard of him before. But, having read that column, I'll definitely be on the lookout for more of his stuff. And I now follow him on twitter.

Dig up his article on Mo Clarett.

And his piece on Tressell after he retired is the best thing written about the whole mess.
