I also don't think it's necessarily fair to compare Browns fandom with the Indians. To be a Browns fan you need to devote 3 hours once a week on their day off to following the team.

It's easy to be apathetic about the Browns and still do it. I think the level of apathy is pretty high. People are in that stadium for social reasons, not fan reasons.

And the Browns were once a great franchise, the Tribe, unfortunately were a punchline from about the mid-60's to the mid-90's.

I don't fault the Tribe for their sucking in a way though, in a perfect system we wouldn't be seeing these players being overpayed by those in NYC and Bos. and us being forced to be their minor leagues.

Fuck, the Cavs history was a joke up until a certain jerkass from Akron was drafted. They had only reached the Eastern Conference finals once prior to that and were kind of an afterthought for a decent amount of time.

6. The book is out on the Browns O - 8 or 9 in the box, press coverage on the outside, take away the quick slant

Think about this: IF, 1) The Browns had a coach who didn't cling to this bullspit WCO scheme every week no matter how bad it was the previous week. 2)Hillis was playing like he did the first 12 weeks of last year 3)There weren't any other KEY terrible injuries the Browns have had this year. If these 3 things were different we'd be looking at a much better team right now. I thought the Browns had a good chance at a decent season this year. But some intangibles happened and they didn't have anything to back them up. That is not going to make me stop following my team.
