Joe West will find a way to make this game close.

Why not swing 3-0?

Um, Joe West isn't an umpire tonight. Looks like Jerry Layne catches our wrath for crap home plate calls.

Kinda wanted the Rangers to win (tick off the Red Sux fans up here

) but I'm glad that Jake Westbrook will get a ring. Just would have been better if it had been with us.....

God damnit, that party needs to happen here. And soon.

As someone who has never gotten over our 1997 WS loss, I think the Rangers' loss was even worse than ours. So, so close and their fans will be reliving that game 6 loss for years to come.

Even though the "oops" came in the 6th game I'm figuring Nelson Cruz will end up being Texas' version of Jose Mesa. Missed that triple by Freeze in the ninth that let the game play on. Bummer...

What a series it was, sadly game 7 was a fizzer.
Was really happy for Westbrook to get the win in the game of the year, most probably should have been used more by La Russa.
Lets just hope we can start to hold onto one or two decent pitchers and start to build towards breaking the drought!!!!
Cleveland: 2nd in 2011 1st in 2012!!!!!
