The Las Vegas Locomotives...?! Out of all the things you could name a team from Vegas (Luck, Aces, BlackJacks ) Why the Locomotives...?

Good Point , but if that's what your aiming for I'd have called them the Haze, hangovers, Aspirin , or the Las Vegas Enablers.

I'd have gone with "Las Vegas Porn Slappers" in honor of the guys on the street corners who hand out the ads for getting whores to your hotel room.

Why dishonor those great men by naming them after a UFL team, that's a name that should be reserved for a US National Team.

Truth.

Even beyond Fremont Street, head to anywhere other than Strip and you'll be okay. Even places like Tropicana, Hooters Casino, Terribles, Tuscany, etc and you'll find less gouging. Or sit down at a min limit poker table and drink what you want for a $1 tip while making a few bucks at tables full of idiots.
