Andrew Luck or any Qb is not going to turn this team around in 1 or 2 years. The Browns are still at least 3 years away from being a contender in the North let alone in the whole NFL. The Bengals are ahead of us in this process with one draft. Dalton has shown promise for the Bengals and he has a #1 WR in Green who could be one of the best in another 2 or 3 years. Now with the Raiders paying a kings ransom for a washed up Qb they will have the draft picks to possible add more talent high in the draft. And well I hate to say but the Ravens and Steelers just don't rebuild they retool.

With Cam Newton Andy Dalton Mallett Ponder or Luck , the Browns may well have only lost one game this year if not gone undefeated vs the level of competition we've faced , butt we're 3-3 and lucky to be there because our QB has the armstrength of a girl can't make plays ,He's to weak armed to take advantage of presnap reads and hit his hots , so he bails like Charlie Frye instead of audibling to his hots , and making the defense pay.
Our QB can't make the throws required to beat the blitz , we'll subsequently be ground into dust as a result just as soon as this schedule gets to the meat .
Nobody has three years to rebuild , although it will add another year to our rebuild , because we stoooopidly tried to address the QB position on the cheap .
Until that position is filled , you have no football team , and BTW don't mention Dilfer or Johnson as your examples for anything .
Both played out of their ass during that game at levels at or near 90 percent well above their norm .
The only team who won with bad QB play was the inbred over the Seacrows and thats because the Rooneys bought up the zebras , Rapistburglar stunk up the joint , but not even a moron could argue the case 'he's not a top flight QB.
