Braden stinks, this should be a clinching win today.

Westbrook's got everything working so far. He's keeping the ball away from the middle, so the A's have caught Groundball-Itis.

Westbrook has all but locked up the third starter role for the playoffs today, especially given Byrd's recent struggles.

Westbrook is definitely pitching the way we expect him to today. Good stuff. And the offense hasn't even hit a homer yet. So much for the Tribe not being good when they don't hit em out of the park! :P :-P

Will be very nice if we can clinch this one and celebrate at home today. Westbrook looks sharp.

Why is the game being televised on WKYC today, I'm stuck with FSN Bay Area here in TN because its not on STO. Which sucks because I won't get to see any postgame stuff if they clinch.

WKYC CHannel 3 typically does all the Sunday afternoon games. Just part of the TV deal where they broadcast 20 games.

I can't see it at all because here in Youngstown the Fox station carries the indians games when they're on WKYC. But now the GD Yinzers are on fox. I'm pissed.

Things I learned today:
- Daric Barton is pretty good
- Dallas Braden isn't
- If you stick 40000 Indians fans in the same ballpark and crank out 'Hang On Sloopy', there will be 'O-H-I-O's heard 'round the city
- You can single, double, and triple a team to death
- Jake Westbrook is ready for primetime
- So is Grady Sizemore
- And Rafael Betancourt
- There's now a champagne, beer, and shaving cream shortage in downtown Cleveland
- And finally, watching the hometown team clinch a division title along with your father: Priceless.

My wife and I jumped up and down for about 10 minutes, watched as much of the postgame as MLB Extra Innings would allow, watched as much mlb.tv as we could with the lag, then broke out the champagne. I LOVE this time of the year!

I watched the entire one hour long post-game celebration in the clubhouse. I'll tell you what, those Latin players can CELEBRATE!

The best was when Shapiro was being interviewed by Manning, and he said now that he "had a taste of success, they want more"....then 3 seconds later Nixon came from behind and pied him. Classic.
