Seriously, he goes and says this now while this entire race for 2nd place comes down to today's final game?

If this distraction costs this team what they've been chasing so hard since they collapsed and fell out of the real race I'll never forgive Sandy.

And they announce Sandy takes over as bench coach the very next day.

This does two things...lets them know they want him back, and let's him know they don't think he's ready. He's not ready btw. Especially since he's never managed even little league.
