Quite possibly the dumbest team I've seen play. And the rules aren't really up for interpretation. Hit a QB in the head and that's a flag. Hit one on the slide, penalty. Roll around on the ground in the endzone instead of running off the field, penalty. It's the same damn rules for everyone.

All you have to do is follow them.

The rules are great for pussies......I was under the impression this was the NFL.

I am not a big fan of Foot Locker employees having a company meeting in the middle of the field every other play because someone is happy about a game winning touchdown or a QB gets his helmet brushed by a forearm as he is sliding down the field.

Enforce the rules! Just get rid of the POS ones.

Had to listen to this one on streaming audio due to the fucking NFL Sunday Ticket Online shit I'm paying for not working while I'm in Scotland.

I'm probably glad I didn't see it live...I was a big enough mess just listening.

Was getting ready to do a big ole WTF??? with Colt in the first three quarters, but I couldn't tell on radio if he was just sucking that bad or if it was mostly due to really shitty receivers and a parking cone for RT.

But when the game was on the line, he gets the ball at the 20 needing a TD to win...and does it. That's got to count for something.

And by the way, for all who were ball busting the Mangini/DaBoll combination on offense last year, at least they understood what they had, and in recognizing a talent deficit, threw in some wrinkles in order to make a D think for a few seconds. Running a team out there with zero playmakers, and having them run west coast 101, soley by the book, well, that makes them about the easiest GD team to defend in the league - except for maybe the Dolphins. You know how many good teams are gonna not pay attention to Ben Watson on 3rd and 6? Christ, they'll have 10 guys within 6 yards of the line. You could argue the only reason the two minute drive worked is because they no huddled...it wasn't ABC.

And penalties are penalties. We all understand and dislike the wussification of the game, but are you gonna f'in pay attention? Hey, if they reduce the speed limit to 50 on the freeway, I'm not likin' it - but I'm drivin' 50.

Lead the bitch isn't about accountability and following rules that are clearly stated, the bitch is about the picking and choosing style of enforcement, that can greatly impact the game. Nothing more nothing less. Throw a flag on every TD in which the ball isn't promptly handed back to the ref or don't flag any of em.

Understood. The problem is with any rule that involves a decent amount of subjectivity. The more time goes on with instant replay and the like, we like things cut and dry. It's magnified in this case cause it's a rule that appears to not really effect the game - until it's called. Unlike a subjective penalty such as holding.

OIC my balls. They played poorly. They play that way 16 times during a year and they're 3-13. Fucking Colt's hitting DL in their chest, no one here says shit with a mouthful of it on the questionable Dolphin penalties and I have to hear OIC from a kool aid drinker who can't or won't be objective.

They won. They needed the win. Their win was more a function of how shitty the Dolphins were than any improvement the Browns have made. They were extremely fortunate. That doesn't take a thing away from how good the McCoy to MoMass throw was but it's still truth.

I agree with Madre, the Browns won the game, not in pretty fashion and not until the last minute but they won it. They didn't deserve to until they stopped the Dolphins at the end, but in a game in which two teams stunk up the joint the Browns went out and made the plays to win it when they needed to most.
