Word is that Hillis is out, per Adam Schefter.

Gonna find out real quick if Montario is ready for the big stage.

Not liking where this one could be headed.
Playing here is the closest thing to heaven. Really, I mean it's amazing to be in a place where the fans truly cherish their football team and stick behind them win or lose. He has strep throat and a fever and is inactive. Hardesty will be fine. This is a very big opportunity for the kid.

Vegas has swung big time to favor the Fins...From 2.5 favs to 1.5 dogs due to hillis. Never bet on my teams, but could get some value on the money line.

Yes, by all means we should cast doubt over whether a guy who left practice sick on Friday and has never shown any inclination toward selfishness at all since he was moved around like a chess piece at Arkansas has strep throat and a fever.

Mostly because it makes so much sense.

So comforting to know we're loaded with GM's, coaches, managers, doctors and psychologists here.

W/Peeker on this.

Hillis is too much of a good guy to pull that crap. Praying he's feeling better.

Just hope this isn't the "re-negotiating my contract" type of illness. Rizzo and his clowns on 850 threw that out there.

Enough said really.

Thank God Hillis didn't die. Those assholes would have blamed the Browns front office for Hillis's suicide-by-illness.

Agreed. THose guys are throwin complete shit against the wall on the contract shit. Fuck them.

If I'm pissed at anyone not playing it's Pashos. Is this guy incapable of healing? Christ.

With Vontae Davis out we need to abuse Miami thru the air. Expect a big day from Colt if we have a chance in this one.

Vegas line moved a ton by NFl standards. I put down and have an opportunity to hit the middle and make some money, course I hope it is with a Browns win above all else.

'Directional punt' says Don Criqui on the Brad Maynard near-whiff.

It'd be nice to better just to have better announcers some day.

You're not muting the game for donovan+dieken?

I wish we had Miami's recieving corp. Marshall/Bess/Hartline would be great to have for Colt.

You can really see the overall lack of talent, depth & experience on this offense. Lots of flaws that could be covered up with just a little help from each position.

Colt not playing well but man I'd bet he wished he had someone other than MoMass on 3 of his 4 throws to #11. Mo Mass in 3 years has shown zero ability to adjust/come to/fight for a ball. Colt missing a few touch passes you'd think he would make good on.

D really keeping this team above water in the early season.

Jesus. McCoy getting buried on 3-step drops, 5-step drops, every damn drop.

And Brad Maynard should see if Richmond McGee's firm is hiring interns.

This is nearly as bad to watch as Bengals-49ers.

I'm not defending Colt's less than solid performance today but our Oline is still having all sorts of issues, and we have zero threats at WR, none of them getting open. You can only live off of TE routes for so long.

Should be rolling Colt out of the pocket a lot more in a game like this.
