That was very nice defense there. Taylor is a beast.

We won and I'm not satisfied. I feel meh about this team. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I'm finally apathetic.

Huh? Colt played really well I thought. No dumb decisions, looked mobile, made some plays out of nothing, got the ball to the WRs. Hillis ran hard and scored some TDs. The Defense (which nobody thought would be good) gave up some plays and everything but kept the damage to a minimum by holding Indy to FGs instead of TDs.

I'm not sure what the hell you are expecting?

Colt ran for his life on every play. How long do you think he can keep this up before he suffers the inevitable? They won but they never made it look easy. They cut down on the boneheaded mistakes from last week, so that's good I guess.

Wait, you're waiting for the Browns to make it look easy? Better for you to just turn off your TV and get a hobby. You're going to be very disappointed for the foreseeable future.

Pinkston did ok, but we really need Pashos back. That RT rotation is turrible.

The fact remains that they're just not very good.

But there are lots of teams in the NFL that aren't very good. So the Browns should be in a majority of these games.

In all reality, however, we're watching to see if certain individual players and offensive/defensive systems start to gel. It'll be interesting to see if they still look this messy come Week 10 or so.

It's funny to go back and read the first page of this thread for the first time knowing the Browns won and had a 27-12 lead in the 4th quarter. You'd think they were getting destroyed. Just goes to show how often this team has found ways to lose. Unless they're destroying the opponent (which never happens) it's impossible to be optimistic.

And when the Browns started kicking butt the comments stopped altogether.

The overall impression I got was of a slightly below average team beating a well below average team.
