I laughed, but the more I think about it, maybe he could be an answer as a RH LF/DH next yr.

Do they have a clubhouse that can handle the distraction? Wedge probably wouldn't have gone for it, but Acta seems pretty open minded.

Why not structure a contract with hitting incentives. Although if I were his agent, I'd sure want to tie his contract to attendance if he signed with Cleveland.

I'd imagine he'd have to be on the 40 man for this suspension to be legit. I don't see anyone wasting a spot so Manny could stay home and play video games for 2/3 of the season.
