Really need a win. Losing at home to a rookie QB on a team coming off a 4-12 season would throw a bucket of ice water on all the good vibes coming out of camp so far. Joe Thomas said there's no doubt this team is on the right track and that's why he agreed to a long-term deal. He's all in on Holmgren, Heckert, Shurmur, and McCoy. A loss to the Bengals would set a very bad tone to start the season.

this is fucking bullshit

the browns can't make a fucking third down, (which is near impossible to do when it's 3rd and 15 and your right side is giving you 2 seconds to make a damn throw).

The Bengals get the ball at the 50, and just run at sheards side and pick up 5 yards everytime.

We should not be losing to a damn rookie QB and the fucking bengals.

Browns really getting owned in the trenches on both sides of the ball. You lose the line of scrimmage in the AFC North, you lose ballgames.

I expected some semblance of improvement.

some sort of you know, decent pass protection. some sort of run defense.

They actually look worse than last year.

These first 2 quarters could not be anymore different from each other. It took us 15 minutes to find out how to stop 5-8 yard gains on first downs.
