Seeing Notre Dame and Michigan at Gameday reminds me why I hate both schools.

Is there anyway both schools could lose somehow?

Bad news- Penn State used all 3 timeouts on their opening 3-point drive against Alabama.

Good news- Paterno will be asleep before the final minutes of the first half when they need them.

The announcers said JoePa is almost back to his 6 mile per day walking regimen. They didn't say it's in circles and that he genuinely looks like he may have only about 30 more miles left in him.

I think Alabama is a McCarron corner turn away from being the best team in the country. Don't want to see that kid get any confidence, cause outside of QB (which I understand is saying a lot) I think top to bottom they are way better than Oklahoma, for example.

Brent and Herbie orgasmed over it but it was two really mediocre teams playing bad football, competing to make worse decisions and competing to see who could look the most defensively challenged.

Yes, exciting end in terms of scoring changes.

But really bad football.

However, the Buckeye fans who shout 'win is a win' when referring to the OSU-Toledo embarrassment, well, they can't throw too many stones.

I am not sure if Fickell should go or not, but I do know that Jim Bollman should. OSU needs to install a real offense, I am sure Fick can handle the defense, and if he is going to be hands off on the offense, he needs a super star to run it.

As for new coaches, I really am not sure who I would want. Most of the coach du jours fizzle pretty hard and there are not many good options out there that are established. I am not interested in Peterson or Patterson. Meyer is not coming, so who is left? Chucky? Please.

I am squarly in Lukes corner right now, hoping for him to be successful enough to warrant keeping him, but that's on him and the team. I agree 100% on Bolman, I've never liked his philosophies on the Oline, let alone the offense.

I saw it brought up somewhere that should they choose to go in another direction, Beckman should be brought in for an interview, and I see that as someone who is a possibility I hadn't considered before last week. In ATO's analysis of the enemy article breaking down Toledo, they detail some good qualities he has exhibited as the HC at Toledo, putting aside the game Saturday.
