Dunno about that but it's different than what you'll see all day Sunday for sure.

I can't watch it because the NFL is shithead cocksuckers who want me to PAY for their shitty network.

Burn it down.

This kickoff rules is a shamockery. Take ten minutes off each game and eliminate it already.

Onside kicks can be decided on the roll of a 32-sided dice.

Pussies.

They don't change their shoes you dizzy bitch. They change the length of the cleats that go in the shoes.

Michelle Tafoya's not even hot. That means there's zero place for her on the sideline.

Ughh... I'd rather take a bleach bath than even think of it.

I'd like Ryan Grant to snap a leg again tonight. Starks is what amounts to my depth in the one fantasy league I graced this year.

My wife is out of town, Peek. So i'm eating Ramen soup and a Old Fashion Loaf sammich.

You should come down tomorrow, we can get drunk and go burn ants with a magnifying glass in the driveway.

Dutch Loaf? That's so 70's. It's also so Hunting Cabin Lunch food.

Will there be snacks if I come down? Other than the burned ants?

Youngest plays in Brecksville Saturday and then plays in Wooster Sunday. I should have bought a fucking house in Brunswick for all this east side soccer club play.

Meet me at the Wooster Truck Wash Sunday and we'll troll for lot lizards and catch the Browns game somewhere.

Old Fashion Loaf and Dutch Loaf are different.

Christ, how many miles you drive yearly for soccer? Do their seasons ever end?

Loaf's a loaf. ;-) ;)

I don't want to count the miles. It'd bring the head issues storming back. And no, the seasons don't end. Fall soccer leads to indoor soccer which leads to spring soccer which leads to full-summer training. I keep my youngest out of most of the summer training because she needs to be a kid at some point.

Was hoping Young would advance one more round but that dude took some steps this past couple weeks. Plus my dream of a Sharapova/Wozniacki final was dashed early.

More sporting disappointment.

Hiko's a tennis guy. Maybe he can explain to me why tennis seems to have gone away from being teen dominated to being more of a 20-32 yrs old dominated sport again? Just better fitness for the older players combined with their experience? Rules governing who can play at what age?

I'm no expert, but I think it's because better physical athletes are playing tennis now. Makes it harder for 16 year olds to compete seriously. And the global nature of the sport these days gives a larger pool of players to find super talented athletes from.

But I could be completely wrong.

A lot of this. Also rules have been implemented to curb the amount of tournaments young players can enter. That and the fact that solid players are much deeper now than in the past.

Course, that won't stop Serena from eviscerating all competition from the 28 seed.

Its pretty amazing to watch Rogers now, considering he absolutely looked like he didn't belong in the league when he first got to GB.
"I won’t tell you exactly what it’s about, but this is typical of what might happen,'' he said. "I said, ‘Tom, do you want to do this?’ He said, ‘I don’t think I do. I think it’s too much or too strong or whatever.’ I said, ‘well, we might have to.’ And he goes, ‘well, if we have to, then you’ve got to tell me, because I won’t do it.’ And I said, ‘OK, then I might have to tell you. Fine.'''

Uh, are you talking about the 3 years he was stuck behind Favre? Because the dude hasn't had a bad year yet.

Agreed. I'm confused. Aaron Rodgers has really yet to show any multi-game chinks in the armor from what I can recall. At this point, it may be safe to say that the torch is in the process of being passed from Brady/Manning/Brees to Rodgers/Rivers when it comes to elite QBs. (I didn't want to include BR but he's probably there too, just may not have the shelf-life of the others)
Playing here is the closest thing to heaven. Really, I mean it's amazing to be in a place where the fans truly cherish their football team and stick behind them win or lose. We players love them, too. I feel a sense of accomplishment playing here, we are a special breed of football players with a great opportunity." ~ tOSU LB Brian Rolle
