On the plus side, fausto extinguished any doubt as to whether we should care about wins the rest of the way. Really took 'maybe' off the table.

Should be a really interesting off season. What do they do with Grady? Fausto? Hafner? Since there are really no reinforcements at the AAA or AA level, I think they have no choice but to pick up both Grady's and Fausto's options, and bring Hafner back. And we have to hope that we get lucky and Grady and Hafner stay healthy..but I wouldn't bet on it.

Tigers are playing like the 2007 Indians. They are better. Mostly because Wedgie isn't at the helm.

Wow I just got back from refereeing a game and saw this. Well it was a nice run boys but hopefully we can reload, get more hitting this off season and improve our pitching a little. I really like how this team fought this season and hope that it continues next year.

Did Jhonny Peralta sell his soul to the Devil to become a good all-star MLB player??? And to suddenly care!?!

I think this Jhonny Peralta is the latest person to fall I'll with "contract year-itis". I guarantee he doesn't hit above .275 and reverts to his old ways next season.

Just when you thought it was over....

It was.

In like a lion...
Out like a lamb.

I am very optimistic about the future of this team. If some of our veterans could either stay healthy or get their heads out of their butts (ahem, Fatso Carmona), and these young guys grow, we got a chance to put together a couple of penants. Especially in this division.

If that's the option, I say it's another season that ends dissapointedly. The Indians were in it until September. That's great. It's been nice to believe in the post season until the last month. I'm not going to complain about that.

I've enjoyed hearing Antonetti's positiveness. I loved how he obviously was trying his best to improve the team. We've seen some new faces to look forward to next year. That said, if the hopes rest on a healthy Sizemore and Hafner, forget it.

I ask Sizemore at best to sign a team friendly contract or let him go.

The only way we should pick up Grady's option is if he'd agree to add another year for the league minimum or something. I think I'd rather keep Fukudome.

I expect Fukudome to get several offers in the off season...but yes, I would like to see the Indians re-sign him. He certainly looks very solid.
