OK now bunt-sac fly. So let it be written, so let it be done.

EDIT- OK, good. Marson to rt side. GRADY- if you have trouble getting this run in, maybe you should sit longer.

It absolutely infuriates me to watch a Jhonny Peralta who cares.

Christ, all you have to do is throw it down the middle above the belt to Thome and he's nowhere near it. It's not just that he's striking out, it's that most of the time, he's not even close to making contact.

Sad to watch such a stellar career end this way.

Not as sad as the fact that on this team he is considered an extremely productive component

Not sad. Inevitable.

I think most of them end this way. Otherwise they wouldn't end.

Guess we should've traded for Doug Fister instead.

Not that Ubaldo pitched bad. But then we wouldn't be facing Fister today.

Thome still has a really good swing going to the opposite field. He just cant pull the baseball with much authority anymore.

I still cant believe Seattle just gave him up, they must think very highly of Ruffin.

I don't understand how Delmon Young suddenly got good.

It's getting dim, but a win tomorrow would get everyone back and following the Verlander game.

Listened to some of the game on the radio.

Know how we always wished Thome would push a bunt to the left side against the shift? Hershiser says his teammates probably do. And he was a teammate of Thome's.

And- if Tribe fans rue not picking up FIster, how must Mariner fans feel now that they traded him?

And, of course, the Tigers' Wednesday starter makes me think "loss". Image
