Buckeyes with a huge recruiting win

Per Bucknuts, DE Adolphus Washington is verballing to tOSU. One of the, if not THE top recruit in Ohio this year. Huge get for Coach Fickell and the Buckeyes!

Great news. His recruiting has really seen a shift from "No way at OSU/Alabama Lean" to this. As a great aside, he is generally considered a package deal with his WR teammate Dwayne Standford.

Personally, I have Stanford down as the #2 WR in Ohio for 2012 (second to OSU commit Frank E.) Frank is not as highly regarded by the national services, but I really like him. I think he is getting the "white WR" treatment (must be slow, possession receiver).

Actually it's looking like Bucknuts might have jumped the gun with this one. Not sure what to think at the moment, but it looks like O-State is in good shape regardless.

Bucknuts is almost always right. They tend to be conservative and dont report until they are sure. They are quoting his dad. His dad raised him as a single father so i bet he is right.

Bucknuts is now backing off, Adolphus jr. reports a miscommunication between him and his dad. He does reaffirm that tOSU is the leader by a large margin and I think this is just a formality at this point.

Bucknuts jumping the gun on this remind me of Jamel Turner and them botching that story (that was bad bad bad).

Which got me wondering, does anyone know what happened to Turner?

Last I heard Jamel Turner was playing at some community college in KS. I am not sure that he ever plays major ball again. Bummer because he would have made one hell of a WDE at tOSU. Great pass rusher.
