8/22 Seattle vs. Indians

Unread postby peeker643 » Mon Aug 22, 2011 7:21 pm

Generous Fausto serves up a gift before settling in.

Someone wants lineups they can post them. I'm embarrassed to write out either team's. And only because I'm captive tonight (and against my better judgment) did I even start a thread.

;-) ;)

Wonder if Acta will Fausto throw 220 pitches tonight. He'll still need someone for 9th though at this pace.

Good God I hate playing these types of games after this weekend. Lull.

I am not saying I would rather play someone else other than SEA, but there is no energy in the park tonight.

Great swing by Zeke..... especially after the worst swing in the history of the known universe on the pitch before it.

Hannahan taking 3rd responsible for that run. Can't score from 2nd on that. Nice job by the bottom after Santana got it going.

The Gutierrez who hit .200 in the '07 playoffs and the Francisco who didn't get a post season AB?

They were the definition of 'blah'.

Gutierrez can go and get it but that's about it.

Didn't feel like this point warranted it's own thread but, Trevor Crowe has started his rehab from his shoulder suregery in the Arizona League.

He's 3-for-6 with 2HR in his first two games.

It's a sad day when I'm rooting for his speedy return to Cleveland and today just might be that sad day.

Look at this lineup.

How long are you captive this time?

I mean last time you were captive I think you had 5000k posts in a month.

No one wants a repeat of that.

See the ortho tomorrow. Then the dopey bullshit of getting an mri and getting back to see him will occur.

Fortunately for you I have to work during this captivity or I'll be looking for a job without wanting to.

Santana's batting average is up to .243 now. I know that on-base percentage is a much more important indicator, but I'd love for him to finish strong and get that batting average up to the .260 mark by the end of the season.

Did you see yesterday's game thread? Trust me, this is better.

Turn on the TV ya tool. We're talking shop in here tonight. Easily the best game thread in months.

Oh... 2-2 heading to the top of 7th.

Good?

;-) ;)

They're like the modern Turner and Hooch, Al is the doochy Tom Hanks guy and mother is the stupid dog.

I'd have gone with 'Cagney & Lacey'.

I see where you would draw that conclusion:

For Fudu: 2-2 headed to the 8th.

Cagney & Lacey were an ugly female cop combo that lingered like gout on some network for nearly a decade beginning in the early 80's.

Everything sucked in the early 80's.
