They need to plunk Carlos for showing up the batter like that.

Santana loves it.

Should we be worried for the future that Pestano can't throw any of his secondary pitches for a strike? (granted he gets a fair few swing and misses with that slider) Or is that slick fastball good enough? A la Betancourt.

Vinnie will be fine. That slider is nasty. He usually has pretty good command of it.

Carlos with a chance to back up his supersized fist pump. Oh, and that passed ball (wrongly called a wild pitch) that cost us a run earlier.

He's one of those annoying little shit Minnesota Twins who hits .325 against us and .212 against the rest of the league.

Hell yeah, time zones are just a conspiracy by TV stations to keep people up late so they buy more coffee and the station gets more coffee advertisements and thus more money.

Wooo!! Nice to beat up on the AL Central for a change this year.

Won the last 3 series against division opponents now keep that trend going.

Ballgame!

Rage looked sharp.... good control of his slider tonight.

Maybe being a bit fatigued is helping him.... doesn't overthrow that pitch.

Nice win. Good defense, good pitching, timely RBIs. First road series win in a month and a half.

Best Perez has looked in weeks. Actually think being a little gassed may have something to do with it. I think Perez consistently overthrows and is too amped up. He seems so much better and his movement better when he slows it down and sits at 93 and can locate the secondary stuff.

Great series win for the Tribe. Not to be greedy but could have EASILY been a sweep. Really liked what I;m seeing from them of late. Now onto the Kitties...
Playing here is the closest thing to heaven. Really, I mean it's amazing to be in a place where the fans truly cherish their football team and stick behind them win or lose. 1.5 behind Detroit going into the weekend series with them.

Chicago is 4 out.

At least we don't have to listen to Hawk anymore.

Hate to ruin the series win, but the worst possible event has occurred... Valbuena has been recalled for Kipnis who is going on the DL. Sigh

Never, ever call something the worst possible event. That's the best way to kill a Cleveland team's playoff hopes.

Besides, it would be worse by far if it were Masterson going to the DL with Valbuena being called up to pitch.

So never call anything that happens "the worst."

I think I hate Hawk so much, and that he is the biggest homer on Earth, that I can't help but laugh listening at this fool (yes I regret my user name decision.)

I have MLB.TV so I can choose which feed to listen to and for this whole series I had a couple buddies (Giants and Mets fans) come over just to drink some beer and listen to Hawk be an idiot. I've enjoyed these past 3 nights.

This team needs to swing a Jamey Carroll waiver-trade.

They're not going to catch lightening in a bottle with Valbuena/Donald. That's for sure.

But we are with Jamey Carroll?

If we are looking to catch fire in a bottle with our utility infielders we've made a huge mistake. If that's the case we should have been sellers, not buyers.

Valbuena has been destroying the ball in AAA all year. I just wish he could translate that success to the Majors.

I thought this entire exchange was completely unprofessional and pretty much disgusting. Basically, par for the course for Hawk.

Donald's gonna get the bulk of the PT, I'd imagine, with Valbuena as the UI.

I'm fine with this as long as the other guys continue to hit. I like Donald, for some unknown reason, and think he'll be a solid player with extended playing time...
