And Hirshbeck is calling it both ways guys. Yes, Hafner's pitch sucked but that's just John and his extra 3-4 inches he gives on both sides.

IF we do get in the playoffs, not a doubt in my mind I want 1. Masterson 2. Jimenez 3. Tomlin 4. Carmona. Who gets left out of rotation by September? Carrasco or Huff? Give me HUFF damn it!!!

This team is getting so much better. When Mitch Talbot was our starter and Carmona was on DL/sucked...we were playing like a last place team. And surprisingly we are better without Sizemore. He doesn't mesh well with this lineup, in my honest opinion.

Beckham must have really impressed in the breif...very brief time that he spent in teh minors because three years ago he was playing for the Georgia BullDogs. I watched him in '08 and '09 and he was a .400/25/90 guy at 2b and in college, that just doesn't happen. Todd Walker was a .400/20/85 guy and that was unheard of. I am not surprised Beckham is up now...just shocked that he's played 2.5 big league seasons. Not to contradict my point, but he's not nearly the best collegiate hitter I have seen. Mark Kotsay is still the best college player I have seen with Pat Burrell being 2nd, Lance Berkman 3rd, and Brandon Larson 4th and none of them were in the bigs a year after they got their freakin diploma.

If you get a holding call or PI, you get a redo, with a punishment of course, but a redo none the less, and it is extremely rare for a football penalty to be the terminating play of game.

Don't equate my disagreement as an endorsement of all other sports as picture perfect officiating.

With the addition of Ubaldo(even looking like shit thus far) our rotation is the best in the AL in my opinion. Especially if we get good Carmona. Its downright dominating.
