My least favorite Hawkisms...

Hawk is such a dumbass. I remember when him and Wimpy were doing games. Wimpy preceded DJ and both tossed Hawk's salad and fed his ego. Stoney takes some of it away. Steve Stone and Rod Allen are my two least favorite color guys. Stone is the equivalent of Pat Haden calling baseball.

I still have the game. Jim Thome was playing in his first REAL season in '92 and we were playing the Sox. Wimpy was introducing the defense and called him THome (like the and this and thick). Then Hawk's arrogant ass decided to start calling him Jim Thome that rhymed with Marissa Tomei. I was a young kid and had seen Thome play once late during that lost '91 season in Yankee Stadium. I KNEW who the hell he was. They never would do their damn homework. Sidenote from that game, Paul Sorrento was on a freaking tear and hit a homer and was at one point 22-40 at the plate during that stretch with 6 dingers. It was his best frame of baseball ever. And what was funnier was Paul's plate song was Genesis's "I Can't Dance". LOL. I also remember K Lofton would lead-off to "Uptown Anthem" by naughty by nature.

How this asshole ever plays catcher is beyond me. Every game he's due for a wild pitch or passed ball and bad footwork/fumbled transfer on a stolen base.

I'd agree if this were a year ago. But he now has the hip of an 87-year old woman. He needs a Life Alert button in case he falls over. That hip is never going to be better, either. He used to have leg action. It's gone and it's never coming back.

If this were a 70-win team, I'd say sure give him the time and space like Andy Marte. But this team needs to win now. Stuff him in C-Bus, trade him, but just don't be counting on him at 1B in spring training next season if they want to win the division.

As someone not listening to him, I'm finding the quotes and dogging of Hawk extremely amusing. And yet enraging in the same respect. Either way I'm just glad I;m not listening to that prick.

Exactly why I don't give a flying flip about jason Donald and don't care if we have him or not. Yeah he might have been our opening day guy, but kid is just not that impressive to me. I am sure I will be castrated for saying such. Or maybe I just hate it when we strike out with less than 2 outs with the fucking bases loaded. Jason La Donald!

Don't know the splits but I would only prefer to see Donald against lefties, obviously tonight is under injury circumstance but he seems to struggle against RHs from what I've caught.
