Present yours in any manner you like. I know what's been going on since June 20th and what I've seen in Fausto Carmona. I stand by my first post in this page in this thread, I stated it even before tonight. Fausto's last start convinced me he was back, and I was much, much more impressed with his Detroit start than Ubaldo's Detroit start based on outside factors. Tell my why on August 18th, 2011, Ubaldo Jimenez would be a better choice to start a game than Masterson, Tomlin, Carmona, Carrasco, or Huff. Go.
Ubaldo - 2.43 K/BB, .77 HR/9, 9.0% HR/FB, 4.48 ERA, 3.53 FIP, 3.57 xFIP, .253 AVG
Carrasco - 2.13 K/BB, 1.08 HR/9, 11.2% HR/FB, 4.62 ERA, 4.27 FIP, 4.01 xFIP, .264 AVG
Carmona - 1.81 K/BB, 1.18 HR/9, 14.0% HR/FB, 5.12 ERA, 4.73 FIP, 4.16 xFIP, .262 AVG
So Ubaldo Ks more per BB than those two, allows less HRs, hitters hit worse off of him, he allows less runs, all while playing in Coors this year, but he is worse than those two guys?
The fact that you included Huff is hysterical.
Tomlin has a ridiculously low BABIP and a really high LD rate so I'd take Ubaldo over him, but if you want to take Tomlin based on this year I won't argue it.
Masterson has been dirty all year so I'd take him over Ubaldo.
