Buehrle is not good news. Carmoma winning on the road against a team he's given up 18 ER against? If I were Pete Rose I would bet the farm on the ChiSox, but would be happy to lose it.
And than God I get the STO feed tonight! Fuck Hawk! He totally makes me want to stop watching. I wish he'd give it up. He's beyond being a simple Homer.
Again, I have not read the boards today or heard anything, but can Kipnis stay off the DL and get going soon?

Maybe I have homer blinders but I cannot imagine there is any better in baseball.

He plays for Cleveland so he isn't winning the Gold Glove.

Or it might be because he hits .215 or .220 and can't get on the field for even 110 games due to it.
Rare to see spot starter/late inning defensive replacement win many season-ending awards.
He had 21 hits in April.
Coming into tonight he had 19.... in June, July and August combined. Should be hard to argue East Coast media bias given that.

Agreed, that said my comments and questions still stand. The GG went out the window once Lonnie made his way up and Jack fell into a platoon.

Excellent. Talking about him deciding to replace Fausto's 'spinning slider' with the changeup because of the downward action and in occasionally calling for the slider early in the count to show it and keep it in the hitters' heads?
About consciously forcing Fausto to work in a faster rhythm so as not to dwell on every pitch as much?
That's the difference between he and Santana in the game management part of the game. Add to that his ability to throw and move behind the dish for balls n the dirt, subtract his hitting and he's still by far and away the best man to catch this staff.
