According to Cot's Baseball Contracts it looks like Ubaldo, Hafner and Acta are the only ones with contracts beyond this year. Fausto and Grady each have a 2012 option. They have exclusive rights to everyone else, unless they don't offer them a contract or arbitration.

#*!/@k%8! computer! Decides to do an automatic shut-down and restart to install updates just as they're walking Santana intentionally to load the bases!!! Grabbed the Droid to see if I could get the feed while running out to the car and powering up the radio. Thank Goodness for 50,000 watts of marvelousness! WTAM came in loud and clear in spite of the fact that you had rainstorms, we had heavy rains, and the atmosphere from CLE to almost-Bahstun is heavier than the Fat Lady. Good thing I got to hear her sing!

I almost never think it's good for a pitcher to intentionally walk a batter. It has to throw his rhythm and accuracy off for at least the next couple of pitches. I worry when it's our pitcher doing the walking. Bonus to have Pauley the one pitching...and hitting! As in hitting Fuku. What a great conclusion to a really long, really crazy game. Goodnight all! Less than 17 hours to the next one! Go Tribe!

Not a clear thought in my head this morning and scrambling to complete sentences coherently. Got home just in time to see Fukodome get hit.

That was a big win.

Here's hoping Ubaldo goes deep tonight. 7-8 innings would be a huge lift for the club.

Get a win tonight and put some pressure on the Kitties and Verlander to salvage a game tomorrow night. I'm back down there tomorrow. I'll kill someone if it even sprinkles.

I can't express how demoralizing of a loss that would have been. Big, big win.

Props to the people who stuck around last night teaching their little sons and daughters what it's like to be a true fan.

During the rain delay, I was hanging out down by that closed concession stand at Heritage Park, sitting on the counter out of the rain. While there was a break, Tony Sipp comes walking out. Talked to him for a couple minutes. Seems really annoyed. Was whining about the doubleheaders and no off days being a "bullpen arm". Suck it up, dude.

Anyway, props to those who stayed like me and props to those who stayed up to watch.

Enormous start for Ubaldo tonight. Need at least 6, preferably 7. Good thing Thursday's not a day game otherwise this bullpen would be completely blown up.

I feel asleep, no effin way I would've mad it till 1 am. But I did watch it on YouTube this morning. It may be a lame way to end a game, but it's a win and i'll take it.

We need 6+ IP outta Ubaldo, bullpen needs a break. Man up or fuck off.

Full throttle for the stretch run. Unlike past years where innings were a concern this year the Indians are clearly being more aggressive in sending out the top of their rotation while they're still in the race.

You would not have seen this last season nor this season if they were 20 out.

It's a good sign and renews my failing faith in Acta. They're not going to roll over and die like a whipped cur. They still suck on offense...... I just hope they will continue to find ways to win.
